Epatante was staying on well before she hit the last and Coleman let a Honeysuckle get the run on her. Would of been a lot closer

If Epatante hadn't ran through the last it could have been an incredibly close finish - no doubt the queen Honeysuckle would have still won though!

Glory and Fortune is the one to take out of the race, bar the obvious ones, he will win a few good races going forward. Might need a bit further the way he stayed on past beaten horses toward the end.

However...
I will say this and I'm sure I'm going to get dogs abuse but I have to be true to myself;
Yesterday morning I saw the atrocities from cluster bombs conducted by the Ukrainian military on the Russian speaking City of Donetsk as civilians were travelling to work, bodies of men women and children strewn everywhere. These were civilian targets.
This has been going on since 2014 conducted by the Azov nazi brigade but nobody cares to research it.

Hours later I see Rachel and other jockeys wearing the blue and yellow armband of Ukraine and then in Rachel's case refusing the Irish flag after her victory.
It created a feeling I've never experienced during Cheltenham week.
I know if she had seen the footage it would have appalled her.

I'm getting sick and tired of political virtue signaling crossing over to sport.
I expect it from corporate soccer but never national hunt racing.
My comments are not geared towards the unfortunate Ukrainian people but to the corrupt Ukrainian government which this armband represents.
Hopefully one day the truth will be revealed and the Irish people start thinking for themselves again instead of being told what to do, think and say.

Nothing against Honeysuckle , but it's a bit rich to say she's the best mate ever , it's strange how when Beauver d'air won his two champion hurdles he never got an ounce of credit from the Irish press or pundits ,infact most were down right nasty , ie worst Champion Hurdles ,awful opposition etc . Yet the fact that the opposition in her victories which have been far worse is completely glossed over & never mentioned. One rule for Irish winners & another for the rest it seems .

Its laughable the comments about epitante being unlucky 😂 she never lost momentum after jumping the last and honeysuckle was sprinting away, the only worry I had today was thinking she might have preffered a bit more cut in the ground
