This is Me Trying is my fav!
ОтветитьI don't see many people talk about Peace, but since the first time I listened to it, not even being a big fan of Taylor, it became one of my favourites ❤❤❤
ОтветитьCan you react to Enhypan? Is an K-pop group,is cool.
ОтветитьWhat about The Lakes?
ОтветитьImagine making it to 2024 without knowing about Bon Iver
Ответитьyou should definitely listen to Evermore full album too if you love folklore! I have been thinking about Evermore a lot lately and feeling kinda sad that it doesn't get enough attention it deserves
ОтветитьNot trying to be insulting, but it's surprising when people who listen to "current" music, no matter what genre, haven't heard of Bon Iver before, mainly because they've been nominated for Grammy awards in a few different categories repeatedly over the last decade or so. It's a band, not just one guy, and it's pronounced "bone ee-vair." Glad to see you discovering all sorts of new things!
Ответитьit's pronounced like 'bone eevair' and the main voice you were hearing is Justin Vernon
ОтветитьAwesome video! Can’t wait for you to listen Evermore and listen to “no body, no crimes” due to the ✨vibes ✨
ОтветитьYou were doing so well talking about Taylor's songs but then Jesus dying for you had me switching off.
ОтветитьHi! Le Jazz de V pls
ОтветитьMy Tears Ricochet: Scott Is the man that discovered her at the bluebird cafe in Nashville in 2005 and signed her to his record label which he didn't even really have one at the time, Taylor was the first artist on the label and basically built the label. He was family to her and her family. Then when it came time to renew her contract with the lable, which was after reputation (which 'Look What You Made Me Do' also was directed towards Scott, Like if you knew everything, that song would probably resonate better with a lot more people and they'd probably like that song more, It's a lot more clever and a clap-back not only to Kanye but to as I said, Scott. Hence "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now, why? Oh, because she's dead' referring to her basically losing/knowing she was losing all of her previous work, but thats just part of what that line in that song meant; The scene in the music video where she lifted the motorcycles aka the "Big Machines" which is the name of her previous label, Big Machine Records, was an easter egg as to what she was planning to do, reclaim her lifes work by re-recording albums 1-6, also again hence the "Look what you made me do" as in, im rerecording my albums and owning my damn work, the songs I wrote, the words that came from me and my experiences; She was told she basically wouldn't be able to switch labels and own her previous 6 albums so he gave her an ultimatum: resign with me and for every new album you put out, you get one back, and she was like, No? So Scott, who knew she pretty much despised scooter, sold her entire catalog to him out from under her which therefore she lost the right to own her life's work, her own words, her own melodies, all of it. For which then she was told she wasn't even able to perform any of her songs from her first six albums, as it would be seen as 're-recording' them (before she was able to) Which is why we now have Taylor's Versions. I am 100% sure this has been commented but thats what "My Tears Ricochet" is about.
ОтветитьEpiphany is about the covid pandemic and draws parallels between the traumatic experiences of soldiers and frontline workers
ОтветитьThis is me trying is heartbreaking and beautiful
ОтветитьBon Iver = a band. Justin Vernon = lead singer of that band.
ОтветитьMirrorball is about how there are so many different facets of each of us- we’re each a reflection of our surroundings and are different people depending on the circumstances. None of those individual facets tell the whole story of who we are until you put them all together (like a mirrorball).
Ответитьfolklore completely rebranded taylor , i mean she was always one of the biggest superstars on earth but w folklore and projects after it , she became this legendary icon she is known now. the creative freedom she got after leaving her previous label really showed she was being held back.
also folklore is so beloved cuz it came out during the worst times of covid lock down and it was about imagination and escapism which we all needed at the time so it just helped so many ppl to stay sane including myself.
Folklore is simply a masterpiece. Being a huge fan of Exile, give The National - The Alcott (feat. Taylor Swift) a listen! :D
ОтветитьWow do you even hear yourself? delusional
Ответитьsounding like jacks production on folklore wasn't ur favorite damn
ОтветитьI can’t imagine other song opening the album but “The 1” … it’s such a poem.
ОтветитьI wish you would have listened to cardigan, it’s so gooood
ОтветитьYou need to listen to Folklore: Long Pond Studio Sessions!! You’re missing some AMAZING songs she made with this album. My favorite is The Lakes!!
ОтветитьGlad you enjoyed it but I would really encourage you to watch the Long Pond Studio Sessions and really listen to the lyrics because what you think most of the songs about was very off, there’s a lot deeper meaning.
ОтветитьI think you’ve unfortunately really missed the point of Last Great American Dynasty, wich is that sometimes women are lound and uncomfortable and also achievers of remarkable things worthy of admiration and just because you don’t get them, it doesn’t mean they’re bad people or worthy of ridicule. Taylor is putting herself right in line with Rebekah, the protagonist of the song at he very end as a misunderstood woman endlessly criticized and admonished for not fitting in well enough, with the reveal that she now owns Rebekah’s house and is the ‘new’ loudest woman the town has ever seen.
ОтветитьYou should listen to the bonus track! The Lakes is a masterpiece!
ОтветитьWhen my husband and I started dating he introduced me to Bon Iver and I introduced him to Taylor. We were both buzzing when they brought out songs together 😂 We've been to see Bon Iver twice and are finally seeing Taylor in Edinburgh this summer!
ОтветитьYour comments here made me not want to watch your videos so thanks for them I guess, won’t waste my time 😅
ОтветитьMethinks that he's becoming a Swiftie. I'm a new "convert" as well, thanks to my daughter. Welcome to trying to catch up along with me. 😊
ОтветитьWhere you been? 10 years? Did you live in a cave? Lol
ОтветитьAgain, I LOVE the Biblical references in this video and in the others. Thank you so much for putting that in there. I wish more people could hear these types of videos!
ОтветитьDid you listen to the Evermore album? It continues the esthetics of Folklore
Ответитьmy dude please look up the meanings cuz you got so many wrong lol.😊
Ответитьyou forgot the lakes but ok
ОтветитьLISTEN TO THE LAKES ON FOLKLORE DELUXE HELLO ITS THE BEST SONG
Ответитьnooo way you missed the lakes 🫠 this is one of my faves
ОтветитьI am gobsmacked by 'never heard of Bon Iver before' 😅
ОтветитьThis is me trying is about addiction.
ОтветитьBoyWithUke Migraine
ОтветитьThe last great American dynasty is about the history of one of Taylor's houses
And My Tears Ricochet is about Scott Borchetta who sold Taylor's art for Scooter Braun.
Please do some research before doing these reviews. When you don't get the subject matter right, it completely invalidates your opinions. Sorry... That's the truth. Education is important.
ОтветитьPlease review Bruno Major
-Just the Same
-Columbo
-The most beautiful thing
-honestly All of them because he’s perfect and even better live!!!!!!❤
Illicit affairs is one of my favorite songs, it’s about how detrimental a relationship like that can be to the other woman.
ОтветитьHi! Could you please share the model of your microphone? 🙏
ОтветитьIllicit Affairs is literally the best song performed during the entire Eras Tour. My Tears Ricochet is brilliance.
I think you missed the mark on a lot of these by not understanding what Taylor was actually writing about - check out some of the background info to help yourself get there
I'm a little sad that you don't like Mirrorball and This is Me Trying because these are the TWO songs that kept me going for the past year and it resonates so much with everyone of us as we try our best to be the best versions of ourselves. I don't blame you though because I think you're going production wise. BUT PLEASE DO CHECK OUT THE LONG POND STUDIO SESSIONS as all these songs will make so much more and deeper sense. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT PLEASE🥺
Ответитьplease watch folkore the long pond studio sessions it shows an explanation of each song, it helps you further understand
ОтветитьU should react to You’re Losing Me
Ответить
