I was in a match with a guy who had placed second in state of kansas in class the previous year. He went for a single leg on me and we both went off the matt, but my lower leg was out of location and of course severe pain, but my leg snapped back into place. I shook off the pain and I did beat him on points. After my match my coach said he had used an army technique to disable me which was a high school wrestling foul.

Back in the 90's one of the guys on our team threw his headgear at the other wrestler when he lost the state title match. I coach literally picked up him off the floor and carried him to the locker room where he proceeded to tear him a new one. He also kicked him off the team. (He was a former state champion and had one year left of school.) We heard his parents moved to Iowa so he could wrestle his senior year. As far as I know, he didn't make it into the Iowa HS state tournament the following year.
