Hi David, great video! This is a bit of a rogue question. If you transcode/export this 2 minute timeline to say a H264 or an image sequence. How long does it take?
Looking at potentially getting an M1 machine to power through Prores RAW transcodes!

My late 2015 imac has been struggling with rendering 4K ProRes RAW. Even with proxy running in"better performance", any little change made causes the whole timeline to slow down significantly. Still doing things I didn't think it was capable of doing without crashing horribly... But overall its taking forever for one project.

can you try this also in the ipad m1, and also export the same video in the m1 max vs the ipad m1 and lets see their length it takes.

Yes, except for that small hiccup with the orbs, the timeline ran flawless! 8k ProRes is insane! I might just make the move to FCP. Thanks for the mention again and the demo!
