I do not understand or know why so many people refuse to have respect for the passengers /crew of the RMS Titanic disaster and let them rest in peace! It is so disgusting! R l P in peace for all eternity,
ОтветитьFolks, most people who owned expensive jewelry such as this a) were likely in first class b) most of the first class women survived c) as soon as they got to New York they filed insurance claims for their losses and were paid for them. I know it feels like grave robbing, but any human remains are long gone; only Titanic's rapidly decomposing shell remains.
ОтветитьPut it in a museum or leave in the ocean.
ОтветитьI find it horrible that thay would sell this to some rich mf...this should be in a museum titainc ia now a time capsule and the stuff that was stolen or "recoverd" needs to at least bw on display
ОтветитьThis so awful and greedy!!!!
ОтветитьThat’s terrible they should not be allowed to sell things that belong to somebody who died
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the update? It’s been 2 years, who bought them? I hope it was a museum
ОтветитьSome of these pieces are at the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor resort in Las Vegas. It's a great exhibit!
ОтветитьTheft
ОтветитьDemtards
ОтветитьThese items should not b auctioned
ОтветитьThat's stealing from the dead ??? Period!! They always pitch for history and education??
ОтветитьThese items belong in The Smithsonian so everyone can see them truthfully they should have never been brought them to the surface it a grave site
ОтветитьThats sad....if Cameron and Ballard came together to buy that it would've been amazing. I'm sure it's long sold
ОтветитьThey didn’t drown mostly they died of hypothermia within 10-15 minutes of touching the water
ОтветитьLeave them were they lay. God rest their souls. 🙏🙏🇬🇧
ОтветитьThese articles should be in a museum or at least given to the descendants of those they belonged to. Such a shame that one person will be granted the opportunity to own a part of a worldwide tragedy to do with what they please. This should not be cared for as an auction of fancy collector's items with a fascinating story, but rather as a collection of historic items of the public's ancestry. These pieces are a part of world history and should be treated as such.
Ответитьselling items from a grave site, just think you have left items in your loved ones coffin and then someone breaks in and take it, that's what these thief's have done?
Ответитьif there are some people who are allowed to own them, it should be the families and descendants of the artifacts' respective owners.
ОтветитьAbsolutely disgusting!!! Any artifacts that are brought up don't belong in America it's a British ship built in Ireland has nothing to do with the grave robbing Americans leave the Titanic alone!! and let the victims rest in peace!!! Tell me this would you go to a cemetery and dig up a coffin and take what's inside? It's the same principle!! Makes me sick. This is why no one likes Americans including us British! 🇬🇧
ОтветитьPut them in the titanic museum
ОтветитьFINDERS KEPPERS LAW SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED IN EVENTS LIKE THIS.. IT IS HISTORY
ОтветитьThey should put in museum smh
ОтветитьSo I guess they will scavenge for the Titan's left overs next...
ОтветитьGraverobbing
ОтветитьHow is this crime allowed? Making money from robbing the dead? These things belongs only in museums. What a disgrace and shame, is it all about money for Americans? So unclassy. Thiefs!
ОтветитьShame on these Grave robbers
ОтветитьIt all should be a national museum
ОтветитьShe will never give up her secrets and we’re not meant to know or to take what remained out of the water.
ОтветитьHow disgusting they’re doing this.
ОтветитьIt belongs in a museum
ОтветитьYou immigrate to somewhere you emigrate from somewhere
ОтветитьThis stuff should either be in the museum or the wreck site! this stuff belonged to people who perished a terrible terrible way and you don’t even know if some of this jewelry was being worn when it went down! This is terrible!
ОтветитьThe things people do for money: selling artifacts from deceased people.
ОтветитьThis should be in a museum not sold off.
ОтветитьWRONG WRONG WRONG. HOW CAN THAT BE ALLOWED. PROFITEERING!. THOSE ARE PERSONABLE BELONGINGS AND BEING SOLD TO OTHERS FOR PROFIT. SO, SO, WRONG!!! WHY NOT DONATE TO SMITHSONIAN OR EQUIVALENT IN IRELAND WHERE TITANIC WAS BUILT
ОтветитьIs that the binoculars they couldn’t find for the people watching for ice Bergs?
ОтветитьThis is grave robbing IMO
Ответить“This is not about treasure hunting”. Proceeds to sell dead people’s jewelry.
ОтветитьBuitres. Que les caiga una maldición.
ОтветитьTextbook grave robbing. All that stuff belongs to someone on the seabed. Its not yours to sell.
ОтветитьWhat a disgrace items shown for auction seem to be personal items from deceased passengers if they are it’s a bloody disgrace
Ответитьgrave robbers
ОтветитьMaybe those binaculars could have saved the ship. I would think before I speak. And leave those commertial items with their owners please!!!
ОтветитьI hate news stories that give no actual data on the collection, oh yeah it’s NBC, no facts required!
ОтветитьDisgusting
ОтветитьIt should be in a museum
ОтветитьCalling them “Artifacts” are crazy those are dead peoples belongings that should be put in one grave
ОтветитьFirst they should search for living relatives of the owners of these things. The relatives should get what is essentially their property. Selling the sufffor profit is unconscionable.
ОтветитьI would imagine those items can be haunted too, not meant to be sold like that
Ответить
