the thinking with the ceiling air vents is to improve ventilation for children in rear facing car seats, also why they used the child seat friendly seat fold for 3rd row access.

I have to disagree with you on the parking brake. I would love a physical parking break again an electronic one is stupid and I'm just waiting for it to fail. I also want every car that's not a manual transmission to return to having a column shifter. They're awesome! It feels great. Just physically moving it into gear and you don't have the stupid electric component to fail. I mean yeah on my bronco sport. It's nice because it'll actually automatically like shift into park and has some safeties built into it. But I have never needed those so I don't care.

Telluride looks more muscular than Pathfinder? Did you hit your head? The Telluride looks wimpy and low with skinny tires, reminiscent of the ungainly Toyota Scion xB. It's a vehicle for soccer moms who don't want a more suitable minivan.

Eh, I think Kia has proven how fickle....in a good way the American shopper has become. If someone makes a good product people will buy it. Kia's reputation was 10x WORSE than Nissan and then one day they decided to change that. I dismiss the brand skepticism here, especially since every car reviewer spent 3 months losing their minds that a new Z car was coming out.

As a Nissan salesman I'm a bit disappointed you didn't mention anything about the ProPilot Assist. With these family road trip SUVs that's been one of my biggest selling points. The fact that the car drives itself is amazing.

Personally I don't see it wanting to be "rugged", it looks way more elegant, the lines are clean and the panels are nicely glossy. Looks more like they are going more for a CX-9 competitor in that way.
