What a waste of a video, as maewings are the fastest easiest tames in the game required zero skill, no trap, and 2 narcotics to tame any level.... Especially easy with the fed suit being able to fly and scan... You literally made a video for no reason but to waste people's time and get views and likes... And then to add insult to injury... You play on a fake mod servers with advanced rates when the thing already tames super fast on official... Why is it everyone who makes content for ARK isn't good at the game what so ever.. can't PvP... Can't play official... Can't build... Can't tame on normal settings... Why play? Like why play???

I never had a palatapus lol but, I had a sugar glider named Luna. Awesome little critter. Loved feeding her yogurt drops and watching her use her little hands to manipulate the food and untie knots. Did you know male palatapus have a venomous spur on their hind legs? It's to pacify the female when mating. Palatapus are monotremes? They are an egg laying mammal. Mammals have mammary glands. So this critter lays eggs and gives milk. No the ark version is part sugar glider which is a marsupial. Marsupials do not develop in the womb like normal mammals they develop in a pouch. Sugar gliders are not flying squirrels. Squirrels are a rodent.

Babies can eat out of the maewing till full grown. They will prioritize the maewings inventory first, then move onto feeding troughs. Been doing this for the past couple months with no issue

If you clone the maewimg you can mate the original with the clone

I’m having issues with the saddle, for me on lv19 no saddle for the maewing appears. Anyone know why it won’t show up ???

Does anyone know how to gain height when gliding with these

Maewing feeding to wyverd do less food usage and then get daeodon heal the wyvern and it will grow up (easy to get wyvern)

Use the area attack to harvest much more berries and if you do it while pointed out a tree it will also harvest thatch and Wood

Lol these are no stranger than the real-world platypus. It lays eggs even though it's a mammal, nurses it's own young, has venomous barbs on its body (only the males, and while it can't kill you the pain lasts for months potentially, and doesn't respond to painkillers), has no teeth and chews its food by swallowing it with gravel that grinds it up in its cheek pouches, hunts with it's eyes closed by using it's duck-bill to detect electromagnetic fluctuations given off by fish and other organisms in the water, has webbed feet and a tail it uses to store its fat reserves, has 10 sex chromosomes, walks with its legs on the side of its body like a reptile, has claws, and has no nipples so the females literally sweat their milk out through the pores on their chest.

It does work for wyverns. The nursing effectiveness increases the value of the milk causing the wyverns to eat less often 😉👍

I just tamed one of these on lost island. The speed you get is just completely insane !! Can get across the map in no time :d

Everybdoy talks about wyvern abies, but maewings also seem are only able to feed magmas and drakes if the maes are carring amber or poison for those

has anybody been able to reach the *vent*s that lead to space area with maywing yet?! Like maes area mazing and fast (even tho weak with offence) all around, probbaly most ,momentially capable things so far, I havent been able to reach the vents that lead to center of map

I don't recall if it was mentioned or not in this video, but I don't believe the Maewinf has an Oxygen stat, so it works really well in the water as well. It's quick as heck and won't suffocate

For some reason I can't access the engrams for part 2

The Wiki says that the dinos will remain babies and inside the basket until 100% maturation. Meaning that it will continue to be fed all the way to Adulthood. Haven't tested this yet, though I've never ran into an instance where the Wiki was wrong.

Seems like everyone is naming thier Maewing Perry. Talk about going for the obvious choice. It's like when everyone named thier Lightning Wyverns Tesla back then.

I tried to use a maewing to feed a shadowmane baby and it died instantly. Is there a setting you need to change or something?

Its by far the fastest tame to have btw.

Babies can also be quickly picked up with clicking the right stick.

the maewing is a platypus + flying squirrel hybrid

They will raise juveniles and adolescents. I've raised several different tames to adulthood with them. I'm on official as well so no boosted rates.
