I have just upgraded the new iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5s and it is really bugging me that it used up a lot of space and the battery runs down quickly. I did the exact what you did except when I pressed the Check for Updates with the Option key down on iTunes it came up a message which said "This iPhone could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible". Do I need to somehow downgrade itunes or is this tutorial only for the iOS 8 setting? If not, is there a different setting that I could get rid of this problem? Thankyou.

I have iphone 4s, with ios 8.1.3.. stupid full of bugs os, wifi keeps disconnecting and wont join any network.. anyways i tried to fix these bugs seperately nthg changed
Finally i tried to downgrade to ios 7. Ive downloaded ios7.1.2 as an itunes files on my desktop bt a new stupid itines error appeard, witj 3194.. :(
Then i updated itunes to the newest version bt the error still there

I hate ios 8, for one its drains your battery 10% quicker, and i cant use vshare on it, but im not downgrading because if i lose all my data, im screwed, i downgraded on my [test] ipad, and it didnt go so well...
