Musk seems to be a fool. He's intelligent, but no genius, whom, like Edison, claims kudos for what his employees do. Autism may cause his social clumsiness, but he does appear to be narcissistic also. And HE wants to give the appearance of a cool witty internet commenter, but comes off as a mediocre troll.

Since he fired those people Twitter has improved drastically. They all were well paid, should have some significant savings and unemployment benefits on top of that. I don’t feel sorry for any of them.

Why did the employee choose to be immature and confront him over social media rather than sending him an email? Takes two to tango and that guy knew better as well. Of course Elon would suspect it was a troll.

I got to ask: Are you really expecting to be taken seriously as a news channel when you spell feud, "FUED?" I say this as a person who wants alternative news sources to succeed.

Elon musk has over 131M followers but averages 1-3k likes on his post. The man is extremely unpopular. He is using bots and still can't get people to like him other than extreme maga terrorist.

Another perspective. Elon offer was made. Market dropped. The unprofitable Twitter just became more unprofitable. Headcount is the primary expense. Twitter was bloated. It’s math. Cuts are hard. But necessary. Twitter might be profitable soon. Then more hiring can start. Happens with every acquisition and clearly started a reduction trend across a way over bloated tech sector. Agree 100% though on how inappropriate and counter productive this and similar exchanges are. But you don’t have a clue as to how deep the cuts needed to go or if those let go were the right folks to terminate. And by making these cuts he might have saved the jobs of the remaining employees. That how this works. Unprofitable companies die
