Too many cars in Bradford! There needs to be a culture change in terms of fast car culture. More incentives for electric cars should be introduced and what are big corporations doing about public transport; certainly will be writing to my local MP in Bradford!

If you want to worry about Air Pollution, you should of lived in the late 50's and earlier to the middle 1960's. 995 of domestic houses had coal fires belching out smoke, there were Steam Engines on the Railways giving out any thing but steam more smoke, factories belching out smoke, Gas Works belching out smoke and Motor Vehicles chucking out obnoxious blue fumes, the result a stinging mixture of highly toxic blue hazy fumes in the Cities called SMOG that choked every one, a mixture of Smoke and Fog, in London they called them Pea Supers.

Domestic wood burning is the largest contributer here in the UK to particulate pollution levels. DEFRA figures quote this fact. The reality is that pollution from wood burning is more than 3 times WORSE than that generated by transport. Whilst we need transport ( which is getting less polluting ) we certainly don't need to burn wood whatsoever. Live near to someone with a wood burning stove or firepit? You and your family will be breathing-in huge amounts of carcinogens.

Most people know what the biggest problem in Bradford is and it's not pollution. I should know, I was born there in 1971 and lived there for 25 years. So glad I got out this cesspit ghetto.

Bradford is lost, take note the rest of Britain!!!
