I love listening to your videos to help me go to sleep. Keep it up.
ОтветитьPleaseee another D&D kinda vid
ОтветитьCould you make a video showing the sheet, explaining skills and teaching us how to create the sheets?
ОтветитьEntered my first campaign very recently
D&D is my new hyper fixation but I only actually play once a week😭
I’ve been stressed out with school recently and today was really bad, I couldn’t stop crying but I have a playlist for things to help with that and this is one of the videos it helps so much just to get my mind off of things in a cozy environment thank you so much Gibi!
ОтветитьYou owe us a follow-up!
ОтветитьIt's almost december! We need an update on this and all your OC's!
ОтветитьYap
ОтветитьIs level 20 the soft cap gods put on mortals so that they can’t be usurped in 5e?
ОтветитьMay I ramble cause I'm a newbie and finally made a character
Name: Ajax
Age: 21
Gender: male
Race: human
Class: rouge
Background: athlete/ruffian
Alignment: chaotic neutral/chaotic good
Str: 10 Dex: 17
Con: 10 Int: 9
Wis: 9 Cha: 10
HP: 20
Armor class: 12
Skills:
Acrobatics (+2) Animal handling (+1)
Athletic (+3) Stealth (+1)
Initiative bonus +6
Passive perception 10
Speed 25ft-30ft
Ideals:
Value of freedom and independence (dependant on the NPC)
The importance of discipline
Fair play (dependant on the NPC)
The importance of honing ones skills
Flaws:
unfocused (distracted easily)
Hyperactive (mood swings, and hyper focus)
Unwarranted suspension (paranoia, anxiety, weary behavior this flaw is intensified while around the orc race)
Self destructive (likely to endanger themselves for the sake of others)
Personality traits:
They avoid conflict unless necessary, extremely protective of others and are likely to potentially sacrifice themselves to protect the ones they care for, usually quite until interacted with, battle weary, prone to lashing out if put in high stress situations
Atk bonus +2
Proficiency bonus +3
Dex mod +5
Held items:
Well kept short bow, quiver of arrows, pouch of throwing knives, a small sack of granola and fruit (dungeon rations/healing item), a old locket that belonged to my characters mother before she died (personal/moral item) 5 gold and 50 silver
Relationships: currently none
Background:
My character was born into a poor human family in a small trading village with a marine father who died in battle, and a mother who was taken as a prisoner of war and presumed dead. Before their mother was taken by a band of orcs at the end of a war between an orcish tribe and the human village they lived in at the time, she gave my character a small gold and ruby locket. This serves as a personal and moral item, leading them to be wary around the orc race and extremely protective around the ones they care for.
Past experiences:
My character has had a bad experience with bars and town markets, especially when they are around the Orc race. Their most impactful experience was seeing their mother taken as a prisoner of war by an Orc tribe when they were a child.
Additionally:
they are not religious and have little to no interest in religion and the only time they seem interested in religion is in what they believe to be fictional stories
I'd love to have a follow up video of you rumbling about your D&D campaign!
Ответитьmore pls!! love this!!!
Ответитьplease make more of these!!! (any topics but i really enjoyed this!!)
ОтветитьI had heard of Dungeons and Dragons before watching this video but I had never known what it was and now I lowkey wanna play it with you and some pros so they can teach me. It seems really fun
ОтветитьDude, within 5 minutes of clicking on this video my headphones decided to be low on battery out of nowhere and they keep beeping in my ears 😭
ОтветитьThis is what I needed in my life
ОтветитьYes Gibi tell us more about DnD
ОтветитьI just boutht BG3 with minimal knowledge of the actual workings of DnD (questionable choice, I know). Thank you for sharing, this is so helpful as a noobie and is such a great idea for a video! Barathir and Tiathel are wonderful <3. Also, you mentioned Critical Role and I am honorbound to suggest Dimenstion 20 for some fun and silly DnD/TTRPG shenaningans.
ОтветитьMy inner desperation for angst immedietly thought "what if Tiathil was the one that severed the bond?"
ОтветитьI loved this!! Barathir's story is soooo enthralling and I'm all here for it. I'm trying to start my own first campaign with friends soon, and you gave me some inspiration to really make my character more interesting :)
ОтветитьI'm not saying I would watch an entire series of Gibi explaining DnD lore.... but I'm also not saying I wouldn't watch it 🫢🫣🙄
ОтветитьThis is the most cozy asmr video I've ever seen and I've been watching ASMR for +6 years. Idk why but I can really feel that I'm just chillin with a friend, drinking a hot cup of something while lying on the floor. Anyway, great GREAT job Gibi and Vest, as always!!
ОтветитьSooooo DnD update?
ОтветитьI think it is wild that someone would charge you money to DM the game, and (i) they're just running the adventure from the STARTER set, and (ii) you're just using pre-made characters.
(Don't they know you're famous?)
i want to know more about barathir’s family and up-bringing! we know about his childhood/academic rival, korra, so that would be interesting to expand on! does barathir end up seeking help from her? i’m also curious about tiathil’s life before meeting barathir, but i think that would be a great way to explore possible motives and antagonists. are there any jilted past lovers of tiathil’s that would be willing to go to extreme lengths to steal the thiramin “root”? how does one go about restoring the bond?
Ответитьif you are playing dnd you are winning
ОтветитьCritical Roll didn't age well
ОтветитьOo, I wanna talk about one of my characters! The first one I ever made was a Rat Ogre Barbarian called Lil' Tim. The DM was surprisingly accepting of homebrew, especially since the rest of the party was all Kobolds. But basically he was a Frankenstein-like experiment made by a Mind Flayer in the Underdark, until he somehow broke free, crushed his captor and escaped into the wilderness topside where he encountered the party. Lil' Tim wasn't too bright so he relied on the others to tell him what to do, but he was large and moved about like a gorilla. The party essentially adopted him as he helped overthrow a corrupt mayor of a small town only for them to take over. Lil' Tim decided he liked protecting smaller people and so he was made the Sherriff of the town, grafting a small metal badge onto his chest so everyone knew.
Oh and he didn't speak Common, one of the others had to translate whatever he said.
You did so well explaining DnD shortly.
I'm a DM myself since april 2021, and we still play the same campaign we started with.
It's called 'The Divine Ten - Secrets of the Past' or short 'The Divine Ten' (since we're a german speaking group it's actually called 'Die Göttlichen Zehn') and although we're not streaming, we are doing a text based actual play blog on Instagram, which finds its appreciation.
I started the campaign based on the adventure mentioned in this video (Lost Mines of Phandelver), but since as a DM you are free to homebrew any rules, plots and so on, I did that a lot, so our campaign became something no one would ever find in books, because I made it our own by using tons of lore from almost anywhere.
It is as epic and funny as possible and after 37 sessions (all around 4 to 9 hours) there still is no end in sight. Love it.
So, Gibi, please tell us more about your campaign. Much love.
Besides DnD, Gibi, ASMR (which is a great mix already) - can we talk about her having amazing pronouncing words like 'point', 'ever' or whenever she ends a sentence with a high tone? I just love Gibi talking calmly to us.
ОтветитьYou know after having a sound proof room I can hear the plains now 😅
ОтветитьMy insomnia n I really enjoyed this video, I really hope you put more content like that!!
ОтветитьI haven't played DND in a while and I really miss it. I can't get into any games on roll20 😢
ОтветитьYou should do more D&D content!!
ОтветитьThis is the coziest video ever!! It would be awesome to see more of these, rambling ASMR is the best
ОтветитьI've done so much writing for my campaign listening to this video over and over
ОтветитьIts lost mine of phandelver, only one mine.
Ответитьi understand how happy you're bc I've been obsessed with dnd for over 5 years now but i don't have anyone to play or even talk about, hope you keep enjoying this!!!
ОтветитьAbjuration is defense
ОтветитьI made my own ttrpg system were testing all the mechanics with high fantasy pirates. There's two kingdoms full of swamps and bayous. One kingdom is run by the elves, one is run by the alligatorfolk. There's always high tensions between the two. I'm having a lot of fun getting it ready. My players would rather it done right so they have more fun.
Ответитьreturning to this video to ask for an update!!! this is one of my favourite videos of yours, its so cozy!
ОтветитьImmediately thought of What We Do in The Shadows when you said and described Gregor lol
Ответитьplease make more d and d videos such as like recapping the story from each session, reading books or showing your dice
ОтветитьI know I probably won't get an answer, but I'll ask anyway. If Barathir only loses the feelings he had for his master, why does he need notes to remember him? I mean, his memory wasn't erased, so he should remember the time they spent together.
ОтветитьMy only question would be can i join you? /hj
ОтветитьThank you
Ответитьhead patss for you
ОтветитьStill eagerly awaiting the sequel to this video! :D
ОтветитьAs a forever DM, you are my favorite type of D&D player.
ОтветитьI have no idea anything about D&D, however I am an avid fantasy reader and writer, so this should be fun for me.
Edit: I was right this is very fun.
