How to Get ABS/PLA/PETG/TPU filaments sticking better on ANY Smooth or Textured PEI Plate!

Also steal wool works fine.
For the sandpaper, which granularity do you recomend?

Thanks for this great tip. I have scuffed up my cheap £8 PEI textured plate from Ali Express. And after each ABS print I clean is down with washing up liquid/warm water, dry then clean with ISO. This has resolved by ABS sticking issue. Now sticks a treat.

will try! have a hard time getting abs and even Pla to stick on this textured sheet!

I had prolly 40 prints on my Crealty XE come out great now just today I cleaned off the PEI with Isopropyl and no stick. I even raised the bed temp to 70C. that helped a little, so Ill try 1500 grit. Thanks.

Or you could avoid EVER touching your plate like the plague. Print farms don’t sand their plates…. Human grease sticks never touch the beds.

Wash it with dish soap and pretend it’s got Ebola from now on.
