It's funny. The reforged cinematic is how I remember the original cinematic looked in my head.

Original Orc Grunt's face is much more better. Reforged one is looks like some dumb Hulk or something xD

The lack of love for the work is visible. Blizzard needs to relearn that art design is much more important than mere "good graphics".

I always hated remasters. The reason why is because they never just change the visuals and leave everything else alone. The game always feels and plays different on remasters. When in my opinion only the visuals should be REPLACED. I get the feeling that the play feels drastically different between the 2 copies. But I haven't tried the original, unfortunately. Can anyone whos played both confirm or deny this?

We never paid any heed to the sins of our past. Like fools, we clung high to expectations. And waited as we had for generations.

Believe me the reforged Beta version colors were awesome than the current.. it was more realistic :(

How tf did they manage to give it better graphics/models but look worse.

I'm sorry this remaster only looks like 2-3 gaming years difference in graphics improvement and it still looks choppy. Like a close comparison I can come up with is spyro 1 original (Original warcraft 3) vs spyro 3 (remasterd Warcraft) original only the water looks like slime.

So Warcraft 3 on the Starcraft 2 engine, which was just an improved Warcraft 3 engine? Warcraft 3 Reforged sounds about right.

Original looks better even though i never cared for warcraft 3.

Not surprised the remastered version is bad, after the pathetic job they did with StarCraft remastered just glad I didn't put money down on this crap.

I personally think most people are overreacting about the new visual overhaul. I mean it's not that good, but it's not that bad either IMO. I mean, if reforged was actually a good remake, but the visuals remained the same, I don't think people would now be complaining about the new visuals. Maybe about the cut scenes, but that's mainly expectations vs reality.

This is what you guys get when you blindly follow a company. Kinda like cod fans dissapointed at mw

It’s not horrible, but it definitely looks like almost the same game with slightly better graphics.

You can tell blizzard's budget has went down over the years.

So basically they've made everything darker.

What the fuck happened to Arthas stance? he isn't even holding the hammer properly and looks so depressed!

it looks a little better, but definitely not worth the $30 and you can just throw away any hope of any good custom maps thanks to the strangling EULA they added.

Can anyone answer if the new version allows you to zoom all the way out and display much larger portions of the screen? The original would not allow you to zoom out much even with higher displayed resolutions. That drove me nuts and it was a major factor when I stopped playing the game. To many other RTS games came out that had this ability. Thanks for sharing this video, however, it pretty much showed the zoom out is not much improved to me.

This it what people asked for, the same game but with better graphics. And it has delivered that. Then if you don´t like that, it´s because you´re used to the old version. The water animation was a little disappointing tough ^^ It seems the units has gotten the most work on them, and they look great.
