ОтветитьWow man, this is sooo sick! I never knew they made special edition N64's like this! Wow, the 90's were a great era when it came to gaming.
Ответитьnice!
ОтветитьDude that Pokemon N64 is sweet!!! I've been thinking about importing the chars gundam GameCube
ОтветитьThe plug for Japanese appliances is the same as the US/CA and some of central and South America as well. (The voltage and frequency is different in some areas) My US /CA N64 power supply (I'm Canadian btw) is only compatible with 120V. Your power supply may only be compatible if it in a certain area of Japan. Half of Japan is 60hz and the other half is 50hz. If your in a 50hz region you can use a simple transformer to convert the voltage. If it from a 60hz region, if you choose to use the one that came with it, then you may have games running at faster or slower speeds. If I'm not wrong it doesn't matter if you use a UK power adapter with a Japanese or any other place with 100-130v.
ОтветитьI got one that looks a lot like that but instead of orange and yellow its blue and yellow and it's still in the original box!
ОтветитьDude!!!!! That. is. AWESOME!!!
ОтветитьHow do you play this console in the UK since the console is NTSC?
ОтветитьTom, you can now buy replacement N64 cart trays (that go inside the console) that don't have tabs, they are new 3d printed ones. Saves chopping up the original console :)
ОтветитьWill your TV accept NTSC signals?
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьNice!!!! Looks Stunning. i used my Christmas money to buy a 3DS, Super Smash Bros, Pokemone Omega Ruby and the tools needed to Replace my battery in Pokemon Gold! :)
ОтветитьNice one, not an N64 fan but gotta say that looks great. I'd imagine the postage price would be insane going the other way - a magazine cost me over £12 to post to the USA
ОтветитьAwesome!!!!!
ОтветитьThat n64 is awesome
ОтветитьI believe that the japanese and american outlet plugs do look similar but are different
Ответитьwow, that's awesome. I've been dreaming of a japanese n64 for a long time, I guess getting the games is even harder than geting the console
Ответитьyou earned my sub :) i'm thinking of importing one as well
ОтветитьThat looks like one gorgeous machine! Orange is my favourite colour as well. Love it. I'm surprised you didn't get a customs charge. Lucky you didn't. Great video!
ОтветитьI'm getting a USA blue one in (as of right now March 19/2017) 24 minutes
Ответитьcan you just cut the tabs off the dust protector and play us games on it?
ОтветитьHow is your console now? Has the pal power pack not fried the console?.l really need to know as lm thinking of buying a japanese console.l have a 100hz crt tv would it suffice? ln your opinion whst is the best picture set-up?From a fan in England.
ОтветитьGet a region free tray instead of cutting the tabs out
ОтветитьTom did you get any import charges as I am going to import one myself
ОтветитьYour Pokemon japanese N64 version looks really attractive. I don't blame you for treating your self to one of these. I have the standard N64 console myself.
ОтветитьCan I order a Japan version and swap my regular n64 guts into the Japan pika version?
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful n64. I want one so bad
ОтветитьS’mae Tom! Did you ever get round to modding this to get the NSTC games working too? I’m thinking of doing the same thing with a japanese n64.
ps - was nice to click on this vid and pick up on a little bit of westy twang in the first minute or so! 🏴
Is this Nintendo 64 region free?
