After Effects - How to Enable GPU Acceleration

What about AMD RX 6800. And in support folder, there is no raytracer_supported_cards.txt

Does anybody know why I click on the GPU Information I don't get what he's getting?? It just shows me that Fast Draft is Available with Texture Memory, etc

Hello, I have question about the Video Rendering and Effects. Do you know why I can not select Mercury GPU Acceleration (OpenCL)? When I render with Mercury GPU Acceleration (OpenCL), I get an error message.

I can only render with Mercury Software Only. I am using After Effects 2023. I hear it's faster to render with Mercury GPU Acceleration (OpenCL). It won't let me select Mercury GPU Acceleration (OpenCL).

Under the Task Manager > Performance, it is showing that I have the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics. The Chip Type is AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x1638). I just installed the new 64GB of RAM and using Windows 11 Pro.

This is what saved me from this problem -


File -> Project settings -> Video rendering and effects
Use - Mercury GPU Acceleration (CUDA)

This will make aftereffects use the dedicated GPU like nvidia instead of internal GPU. Thus will not slow down or get stuck during playback

I dont get it... It shows that it would be supported by the GeForce titan but even after i added my exact card "GeForce GTX TITAN X/PCIe/SSE2" it won't show me the checkmark to activate

Already i done all of this, but when am render my file suddenly After effects closed ... and i have 16 gb ram in my pc, but in render time Render file takes 25 - 40% are using then suddenly after effects closed

The option to enable GPU acceleration on the latest version of CC programs is under the "General / Video Rendering and Effects" tab in Project settings. (File > Project settings)

hi I install the 2020 version and I don't get any error when I open the after effect an check the option in the project setting then put it on acceleration (CUDA or OpenCL) and in edit preview and check GPU information after that I change the ray tracing but when I want to render the project in my task manager I saw just use the CPU and ram and doesn't use my graphics can you help me?
