Business- Pyramid Technoplast is amongst the leading manufacturers of industrial packaging products- polymer drums, metal drums and specialty product IBCs from the range of 20 litres to 1,000 litres, serving industrial customers from agrochemicals, specialty chemicals, paint industry, pharmaceutical industries, etc.

It has operations spread across seven manufacturing facilities (Silvassa and Bharuch), which are fully automated and state-of-the-art facilities.

Revenue mix Q1FY24- Polymer drums 44%, IBC 29%,

MS drums 8%, others 19% (polymer trading activities). EBITDA margin range 10-11% over the past 3 years- company has a pass-through model with a lag of one month- keeps margins stable.

As per the management, Pyramid has a ~40% market share in IBC segment (India).

Clientele- BASF India, GNFC, Galaxy Surfactants, etc. are among the top 5 clients.

Top 15 clients contribute ~30% of the total sales.

Capacity expansion- The capacities as of Q1FY24 stood at 18,837 metric tons per annum for polymer drums, 3,240 metric tons for IBCs and 3,600 metric tons for MS drums.

Pyramid has recently added 120,000 units IBC capacity, commissioned Line1 of IBC plant in July’23 at Unit 7 in Bharuch and is further spending Rs ~45-50cr for Unit 8 and Unit 9 (all segments).

The additional capacity is likely to get operational over the next 15-20 months.

Capex would be funded through internal accruals.

Asset turnover is ~5x which gives good revenue potential over the next few years with the current and expected new capacities. Current capacity utilization is ~75% across facilities.

Growth and margin drivers- General rise in consumption, expected growth in chemical industry volumes (mainly for IBC segment).

Management expects to continue to grow between 20-25% over the next 3 years. EBITDA margin is likely to improve by 100-250 bps over the same period led by high growth in IBC (IBC’s EBITDA margin is ~15% vs 9-10% in other segments) and operational leverage.

At peak capacities (current and expected), the management has guided for a revenue potential of Rs 850-900cr (FY23 revenue 480cr).

The company also does very small IBC exports to Dubai- might explore more options in the future.

Financials- Recently did an IPO of Rs 153cr (fresh issue 91cr) and repaid Rs 40cr of long-term debt (currently its debt free).

Working capital cycle is between 60-70 days (debtors ~60 days and inventory ~40 days)- likely to remain in the similar range.

Expect sufficient cash flows to fund the capex.

View- At Rs 163, mcap 602cr- we like the company as a value buy considering strong growth prospects, margin improvement possibilities, decent balance sheet and capable management.

With new capacities, the company has the potential to grow at ~20-25% over the next few years.

We like the stock from 2-3 years perspective.

Bro please tell me about Globus spirit.. i have bought them at 1585/- in March 2022 till then it is falling down and down.. but a few weeks back it has shifted it's gear to upside and reached 1327/- but This Modi has banned the all varieties of Rice except basmati rice export to other countries in the world. Because the rice price is getting higher and higher they don't want people to blame bjp because of the increasing price of the rice.. so for their vote bank politics they have banned the export of rice to other countries in the world.. I heard that till November 2023 this bjp will not lift the ban on rice export..

Pls tell me when will it cross the 1600/- level
