When I was 9 years old me and my grandfather caught two of this fish in our small pond and we deep and dry fried it in shark oil it taste like chicken very delicious.....

I thought sunfish is filled with parasites, which is why other fish don't eat them

A commentary would have been nice, I would like to know what the large parts that were put in a separate bin were. Also what the flavour is like, I have eaten louvar, which has a similar looking flesh and is really good.

I guess mankind really does have to eat everything. Butchering such a fish on the underside of a tub, in an alley...so hygienic. I seen Indians butcher two fish. A guy pulled up in a car and tossed them on the filthy sidewalk. The "butchers" picked them up, took them to a tent and tossed them on the floor where chickens, cats and people have been walking. They broke down the fish without even rinsing the thing off...most unappetizing.
