Let me know if you want to see part 2!
ОтветитьI love the Byzantium play as it is very hard and lots to do which makes it fun. They are kind of right in the middle of everything. My advice is ally and use Hungary. It makes Ottomans less likely to attack right off the bat being allied to a bigger country and basically have to restart if you have no allies. Hungary almost always allies with Byz early once you get the relations up. Their manpower is way more than yours. Wait for Ottos to attack someone tough (they will) then jump in. Hungary almost always breaks alliance later so might as well use them early. They either union with Austria or want your land, so use them right off the bat.
Austria is next once you get enough of an army and navy. They almost always are right at the top of development and if head of HRE have tons of manpower. They also hate Ottomans so always say yes to a war. They really help taking down Venice also as they have cores in Venice.
Always keep up with military tech levels as it helps ally and if you get behind it makes it impossible to take on western europe.
good stuff!
ОтветитьI know you said you don't mean to play that way, but Pronoiars are free annexations. you make a vassal a pronoyar when they're small. reconquer their cores, revoke right to inherit and when the ruler dies suddenly integrated for no cost. Meaning they cost no ADM and no DIP
ОтветитьMe watching this after my 2nd play through of the Ottomans and got immediately declared on after dissolving my military because my economy was solely based on loans.(Which now that I’m watching EU4 vids seems like most economies are on the backs of loans)
ОтветитьYou going to Tunis for Tunis sandwiches?
ОтветитьI'm a simple man, I see roman something, I click it
ОтветитьI don't play EU4 very often if at all and I seldom watch EU4 content, can someone help me understand why provoking Bulgarian rebels no longer works?
ОтветитьTheres no larger collection of byzantophiles than the legendary Paradox community
ОтветитьPlease continue this run!
ОтветитьYour videos cemented my love of this game. Thank you for your hard work and brilliant sense of humor and personality.
ОтветитьLoving the long hair bro wildman out
ОтветитьVenice to La Serenissima to Italy to Rome to HRE.
ОтветитьI got lucky with Byzantium, catching the Ottoman armies on the other side of the Bosphorous. I decisively defeated their entire army after claiming the Bosphorous with my navy and then took back most of Greece, going heavy on development to build up my army for round 2.
Ответитьdew it
ОтветитьLove your Obi-Wan Kenobi Ep. 2 hair-stile
ОтветитьI tried this in one of my saves Spain got PU on France mad my ally Austria give up burgundy then attacked the empire and released Syria and Tirol
ОтветитьNice video Hawk! Enjoyed it a lot!
ОтветитьWould be nice to see you do playthrough on Europa Expanded. There's some crazy good/long mission trees and events there with the final release patch. (personal recommendation Nepales, Frankia formation, Marocco/Tunis into Andalusia)
ОтветитьWut dlc
ОтветитьIs it just me, or is he really hot?
ОтветитьI like this
ОтветитьFU man. eu4 wont come to aclose. ur vids lack to nec. iq anyway, not suprised about such a shtty comment
ОтветитьOttomans trucebroke me in 1445 wtf
Ответить@TheRedHawk, what DLC are you using in this video? I'm using 1.37 and I start with a larger army and a larger navy and I can't choose Epirus as a rival. In fact, that happens a lot when I follow your videos. I feel like you're using a different version from what most of us are playing.
ОтветитьRed Hawk… doing a multiple part series??? How far back in time did we go? I feel like I’m watching a Chewy video on Byz again from the first time he did a play through.
ОтветитьIf you have good relations one of genoa or venice you can remove these 3 years of debuf about the ships
ОтветитьCould you please tell me the map mod you are using? I used to use the same looking mod but with the updates it became obsolete, so I don't know which one to download for the latest update. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery cool to see you just enjoying the game, doing cool things
ОтветитьClash royale wizard ahh look 🔥
Ответитьpart 2 please!
ОтветитьBetween you and laith, you guys are doing wild things with your hair, yours is much better than his though
ОтветитьWe want bald hawk
😊
@TheRedHawk Have you ever tried the elective monarchy?
Ответитьwhy would you not take the pronoia government reform ? you say you wanna do the classic "release and feed cores type subjects" but it's exactly what pronoias are meant for, it's just even better as you inherit them naturally afterwards, saving the diplo points... quite disappointing
ОтветитьWe want part 2
ОтветитьHi, I want to see part 2.
If you're taking suggestions, I'd really like it if you remade the exact borders of the empire at it's peak, with no more and no less provinces owned
This is way to hard lmao
ОтветитьThis looks so different to my byzantium run: your clicking so many missions, I play this game without dlcs 😂
ОтветитьYou say “man” way too much in your videos. It makes them borderline unwatchable once you notice it. I can only do a text transcript of the first 30 minutes but in that time you said it over 40 times.
ОтветитьIt will be awsome to Watch that such a good creator making Roman empire
ОтветитьI think you'd have more fun doing it as Trebizond. Try it out. It's genuinely VERY HARD and opens the Cappadocian culture and an opportunity for the Greco-Georgian and Grico cultures to be in. It's a damn near impossible game but it's beautiful when you get it going well.
Ответитьlove the video, you should make use of your icons tho it would've saved a lot of points when devving colonialism
ОтветитьRed hawk the way you run your economy always gives me anxiety
ОтветитьImagine wasting diplo points annexing vassals when you could make them pronoiars, revoke the inheritance rights and just freely inherit them like a PU… why?!
ОтветитьMade my day waking up and seeing this had uploaded! Can't wait for the rest
ОтветитьRad. Getting ready to decide what will be my last hurrahs for IV, this is a possible inspiration! Thanks Looking forward to any continuation!
ОтветитьMehmet ambition, please
ОтветитьI had a similar thing in my Aragon to Rome run where my allies Austria strongly desired all of the Ottoman lands in Anatolia as well. I very nearly lost them as an ally before I figured out what was going on. It was very odd. This was a fun video. I can't wait to see the rest of this run!
ОтветитьPart 2 ! Part 2 ! Part 2 !
