I know you like math and numbers. Well, compare the box office numbers of Gemini Man (2019) and Bad Boys for Life (2020), two films released around three months apart from each other. Both films had the same top-billed actor (Will Smith) and the same plot (older man fighting his younger self, who has been groomed to kill him), but the successful film of the two had Martin Lawrence in it.

And here we are, four years later, with the Oscar incident having put Will's career in jeopardy, and Martin Lawrence, once again, comes to the rescue by filming another Bad Boys film with Mr. Smith. Recognize! Recognize!

I’m with Dr. Boyce. It would be interesting to know the real reason he slapped chris rock. But as far as will and entertainment, I would have liked to see him come back after sitting out for some time. Give himself and everyone else a break with the talk or will smith. Sorry to say, you guys seem.pretty naive. I love Will Smith. Yet, there is obviously something in the Hollywood money-making machine behind the movie's success. Until Jada is totally out of his life, you're crazy to think Will is emotionally well. HE is just a great actor with a great work ethic. All the publicity and interviews are ACTING. This is misleading because the marketing is 100million also . So usually from these big blockbusters it is said you must make 3x the budget to make a profit . So this movie has to make at least 250-300million to be a success .
