That's bollocks
ОтветитьOr start your own company and work when you want, being a worker makes no sense anymore, but most don't have the resolve to run a business
ОтветитьWhy not lets go straight to 14 days row without any free day
ОтветитьYou need to understand that Greece GDP is based mostly on tourism.
That means 24/7 running around .
Also the infrastructure is poor in most places, only the highways are okiah.
That means in long term the tourism will suffer.
Also they were not paying taxes for years, now the state is collecting and they are complaining.
I've been back from a 10 day vacation and all over they were complaining tax police is checking and they need to pay taxes.
They need to adapt to requirements and that's it.
Tourism is not the same as working in an office.
Thank's to the policy that people can have a pension at 45🤷♂️
ОтветитьThey only work about 2 hours a day.
ОтветитьGod damn it Greece :/
ОтветитьThe only European country that stopped lying to its own people. Europe does not have productivity, is going down and all states will have 6day working week eventually, it is inevitable.
ОтветитьIf one wants to work 6 days, they'll move to developing countries where they will have house help to do all house work. Not stay in Greece. Greediness by the government.
ОтветитьSo your young citizens are leaving greece due low opportunities and you thought was a good idea to introduce 6 days of work. Now everyone is going to leave.
ОтветитьSome countries have increased their productivity by decreasing the length of the work week.
Looks like greeks believe that one needs to look as if they are working hard, and not that one needs to be actually focused and motivated while working.
Greece is in a lot of problem in the economic side. Yet working 6 days a week is a problem!!! No wonder Greece wants to join EU. Try coming to ASIA then you know what is wrong with you guys.
ОтветитьIn Bulgaria is the same.
ОтветитьWe shouldn't laugh, this may be the future of many countries in Europe. Europe is aging rapidly and the situation is getting worse. Just see how the former powers are weakening: Germany, the UK. More countries are in line.
ОтветитьDubai is like this
ОтветитьThe greeks are in a race to beat Bulgaria(us) in who their country will die faster
ОтветитьThe European dream is becoming a nightmare. Since we joined the union and changed our country our country is getting worse in every sector by a decade.
The European nightmare!!!
Government is really trying to push the Greeks away from Greece
ОтветитьNow there is no need to worry about getting caught working your day off
ОтветитьAmerica, franch, and more will be doing the same.
ОтветитьOfficially, the average workweek inside the EU is 48 hours long, meaning 6 days of 8 hours per day. This is the maximum the EU will allow. Each nation within the EU may reduce this number of hours but not increase it.
So it's legal what Greece is doing, although few would like it. Do keep in mind that working more hours also means more wages, so for employers it might not be a good idea to make their employees work longer.
Most EU countries use the 40-hour workweek or even fewer hours as standard as this creates more jobs. You can have three people work 40 hours, or four people work 30 hours or even 6 persons to work 20 hours. The latter puts more people to work. But Greece has a laborer shortage, so reducing the number of hours makes no sense.
But employers can choose to use less hours.
"Business that provide 24/ services" Hire. More. People
" or Business that are under heavy workload" Hire. More. F6cking. People.
Don't comply
ОтветитьWait until Japan gets the memo. They already have very few days off and their demographic collapse is even worse.
ОтветитьI work 7 days a week for minimum 21 days a month.. usually 6 days a week for 4 months straight followed by 1 month off (14 hours per day) - in canada
ОтветитьA 6-day work week is a slap to families
ОтветитьThank you once more Greece.. one more step for all of us Greeks abroad to never come back ❤🎉
ОтветитьSame way England endorse no matter how many days a week you work u still can't live comfortably
ОтветитьWell in fairness, the typical greek does nothing in 5 days and probably barely pays any tax...so why not?
ОтветитьOdd. The most successful and business owners work 7 days a week without a complaint. Employees are always the one who have an issue with working a lot.
ОтветитьIf you aren't working 8 days you lazy.
ОтветитьGreece will become a ghost town
ОтветитьThe world really is backsliding into a right wing nightmare. Its scary.
ОтветитьA Six-Day Work Week - For many individuals juggling multiple jobs, working six days a week with multiple shifts in a single day has become the new normal. High rent or mortgage payments and rising living costs have drastically changed the landscape compared to ten years ago. While some sectors have adopted a four-day work week, this doesn't necessarily translate to more free time or improved financial situations for everyone.
ОтветитьThe only jobs available to Greece right now is serving ouzo to tourists. Nobody wants to do that... So the government thought that the solution is to make the people that already working to work more hours and days 👍
ОтветитьDidn't that financial reveal that the people avoided paying taxes? Does this have bearing on this decision?
ОтветитьCapitalist tycoon pigs only become reacher and reacher, while we, common people have to work more end more to make ends meet
ОтветитьUnacceptable
ОтветитьI don't get it? Is it only for 24/7 businesses a d high workload ones? How is that determined?
ОтветитьI don’t how it is in Greece but economically not strong countries like Türkiye, business owners has so much power, literally modern slavery. Long working hours and less salary, aging fast, less time with the loved ones. Meanwhile economically strong people of countries have to pay high prices for the products of big corporates. So it’s always win-win for the money makers
ОтветитьDo people in Europe do not work on Saturday? I mean I live in near Paris and I see almost everything open on Saturday
ОтветитьTRAGIC - ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ
ОтветитьGreece messed up, they will pay for decades. Here in Norway, we are planning on increasing pension age to 75, in Greece they had age of 52 for retirement before their economy collapses. If a country wants a social democracy with a welfare state, they need a hard working people with a late retirement age.
ОтветитьCradle of democracy in chains....Thank you goverment...
ОтветитьSomeone should let them know. What are those light poles and politicians are for.
ОтветитьΙts the european values,thats how.
ОтветитьWhy can't employers offer more pay? That would help bring back the 500,000 who left too
Ответить😢
Ответитьwith this 6 days working days, Greece is not Europe anymore, Greece should leave EU and join North Korea. Even North Korea has better working hours.
ОтветитьNeoliberal dystopia
