Yandex is so much better when it comes to looking up controversial topics. Google seems to be biased and demonize you if you have an opposite opinion of the media. Seriously, test it out and see how google ignores your question and beats around the bush. Plus the image search is better. Yandex 1000%

if Yandex is so great why can they not block and remove all forms of child pornography from being able to be searched/ hidden in unsuspecting links. This is just disgusting that you people promote this type of nonsense and have the audacity to claim to be the best in technological company? righttttttttttt.

I was reluctant to change and so lazy to change my bookmarks or transfer them to other browser. When I changed to YAndex my life and my security suddenly got upgraded. Why? because I can visit many pages and do not get tracked, get rid of pop ups, automatic downloads, and its engine search system, gives me all kind of results that google doesnt want to show you. Certainly, Yandex interface must be more minimal, but still is my first choice.

Actually Yandex is far better than Google hands down.

Indian market, media, government and people are completely controlled by US tech companies, US media and US government.

I find Google more convenient only because I already have everything set up in Google. I have started using Yandex and it is actually much better than Google! I wish i had started off using Yandex so i wouldn't be so tied to Google's inferior services!

They seem more genuine than Google has been for the last 10-15 years.
The question is... can the Russian government be trusted to stay out of this better than the American?
I think not.

The question then becomes: Do we want a US controlled by the tech company, or a tech company controlled by the Russians. Which is more dangerous?

I have been doing some experimentation comparing yandex and google as to the bias of search results on certain controversial or idealogized topics, and it's stunning how much more objective and open yandex is with its results. Google has a VERY clear liberal bias. For example on the topic of exactly how the depathologizing of homosexuality by the APA and it's removal from the DSM-II occurred, the fact that in OBJECTIVE REALITY it had NOTHING to do with science or new scientific discovery or ANYTHING like that. I keyed in many different search phrases and google simply refused to offer up ANY information except the contrived tendentious stuff that is completely predictable. Only Yandex revealed any kind of diverse and interesting results, from which i learned the historic truth of these events. Only when i keyed in some of the titles that popped up in Yandex into the Google search did these titles appear, so clearly Google knows about them, make no mistake. Disgusting. Such lack of intellectual honesty. Google is trash from a scientific integrity perspective. Wish Yandex was a choice for normal American conservatives.

Swindlers. Company That exist thanks to gov. protection, that dont open russian market for western companies. As a person who lived long time abroad i can compare this garbage company with companies outside of Russia. And i swear you cant compeete with Google or Amazon. They will eat you !!!

thank you for the video!. Yandex is a good searcher, but is unestable in some ways. When one is passing photos, suddenly it moves to a next page, and also makes waste time when one try to look some of them. And this is constantly.
