We were average, but solid. We had our moments, but City definitely had the better of the game - as they should at home. But without being at our best, we came away with a point and not many do that there. It shows that we aren't far off. We have a pretty young squad now and they will only grow better together over the next few years.

After watching last night's match. I would honestly say that Curtis Jones is someone who should be dumped from Liverpool. Come on, he made a lot of mistakes in this match. Even in the previous few matches, his level was not at Liverpool. All he can do is position himself so that he is not visible so that he is not exposed to the camera. Once seen, he just made a mistake or celebrated as if it was his goal. I was very angry when in the first half when I easily gave the ball and opportunities to Man City players. When he was sent off, I felt relieved and had hope that Liverpool would be able to attack and score goals. And it happened.
