THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE SUICIDE SURVIVOR

I was a part of the new suicide net on the bridge. For 4 years. He came to speak during one of our Safety weeks. He spoke at lunch. It was so moving I walked up to him said thanks, shook his hand and gave him a hug. I was in tears.

The Question is why about the dumbest mistake to fall off that Golden gate bridge to the Ocean below 🤷🤦

The sea lion was no other than Lou Seal the Giants mascot.

The area with the greatest great white population and the animal that finds you is shark food…… and ppl don’t believe that David brought a rock to a knife fight and won …

Can you imagine how many died that realised they made a mistake as soon as their feet leave that bridge and its too late 😢💔

After a ten year trauma of a severe skin condition and chronic back pain i have suicidal thoughts everyday. This story has always amazed me. The sea lion kept him above water. I thought it was a seal for the longest time until I heard him tell his own story. It’s amazing, really!
