The 7th Saga: No Tune-Up Glitch Speedrun with Wilme and Olvan in 6h 54m 16s #retrogaming #snes #rpg

This run was a PB attempt at the No Tune-Up Glitch category of The 7th Saga.

Wilme began with grinding to Level 8 on the overworld and to Level 10 in the Cave of Earth. Then, after getting the Wind Rune and making it to Melenam, Wilme recruited Valsu at Level 12 in Bonro. The recruitment took a bit of time, as I could not get one of the characters to join that I wanted. I had to take extra fights outside of Lemele to change the responses.

One adjustment to my route was grinding on Brains to Level 19 before going fighting the Patrof traitor. The traitor was Kamil and was an easy fight.

When traveling to the Northern Continent, I took the submarine to Dowaine, as both Wilme and Valsu only go to Dowaine. My preference is to take the boat to Pandam, as the walk from Pandam to Pang is easier than the walk from Dowaine to Belaine.

Another route adjustment was grinding on S Brains to Level 36 instead of Level 35. I save-scummed the Dragon fight to try finding an apprentice that would join. After many "No Join" attempts, I was finally able to get Olvan to join in Pang. Overall, it was a little over 27 minutes to get the final recruitment, so time could definitely be saved on this split with good RNG.
