I did this when I first started doing amigurumi like 12 years ago, and I didn't learn it from anyone, it was my own idea! I even used my cat's brush and finished it with a Barbie doll's brush haha I didn't know it was a technique

This is a technique us doll customized use to make wigs too, we use a hair straightener afterward and it looks just like fluffy and soft human hair!
