If Nintendo were to release something like a Home Switch, where it is a non-portable version of the Switch that is more powerful than the standard models. It would be like the difference between PS4 and PS4 Pro or Xbox One and Xbox One X. It would be for those, like me, who prefer performance over convince. I rarely if ever play my Nintendo DS or 3DS away from home now. So, the lose of performance for portability has never been appealing to me. Sure, it is nice during a long wait for an appointment; however, I have a smartphone as well.

i love Pokémon games but if im honest i don't like scarlet and violet, i find it too much of a walking simulator and it gets incredibly laggy and as for someone who plays on pc with max settings most the time because my pc can handle it its genuinely hard to play it

The Switch is just barely holding on by a thread, I havent bought a game for it since New Horrizons I pretty much gave up on mine because it just feels so slow. Sure there are limitations for having a porable system, but the switch felt so obsolete even when it came out. My take on this is that 60 Fps should be the standard these days. Gamefreak rushing games out, be it forced or not just sucks to see because I feel as a collective, people like this game, but the optimization, and horrible code is what killed the vibe for many.

Too bad you can't play online...well...you could but it's seriously not recommended.

Hey guys just wanted to say you do not need to spend 4k to get good performance, 1k is plenty. also if you're spending 4k on a pc you should probably get at least a 1440p monitor lmap

Also you should be able to get a 5.0ghz OC on that 8700k to help you out with your bottlenecking a bit. My 9700k is clocked at 5.2ghz with a 3070 Ti and have no issues.

Switch's 1080p isn't 1080p at all most of the time. Looks closer to like 1600x900. Playing Trials of Mana on Switch and then playing it on PC, both set to 1080p, you can clearly tell the difference. The PC version looks superior in every way.

The MOD community has some work on this that they still need to do but this is definitely still more progress than the original game release so I give it B+ and game freak gets a F

I believe FFIX remaster has the same problem with how the frames and camera interact. Like you can see an after image in battle in 60fps for like a frame.

I love Nintendo's creativity in being different with their systems, but man I really wish they would stop putting extremally underwhelming hardware in their systems. Gamecube was honestly the last time the graphics kept up with it's generation.
