I just finished the book. It was…whoa!!! Eye opening. And, I love how Jennette expressed the complexities.
ОтветитьI just read this a couple weeks ago. Jennette is amazing and so is Trevor! They are both so insightful and honest! Great interview! I’m sure her book is helpful to so many!
ОтветитьSuch a great interview
ОтветитьIm very glad for her getting out of the acting life. I can only imagine it being so exhausting on children.
ОтветитьYeah I was just looking for some interviews cuz I just finished the book pulled up a couple and definitely wanted to watch The Daily cuz he's just so nice but before I did I pulled up one exactly like she described at the end of this video and I was like eww like just the way that people yeah. Idk my point is some of us see it the gross media and the ew interviews and we come to watch the people who actually care
ОтветитьYour mother needed therapy ten times more than you but please continue your therapy to heal the wounds. We love you fat and happy than thin and sad and crazy😊
ОтветитьIf it's any comfort my Mom used me too to revenge my father as he loved me the most. She was not as sick as your mother but still used her power controlling me.
ОтветитьTickled, having just read the book to see her in a floral print here. Great interview.
Ответитьthese comments are awful
ОтветитьI can kind of see how she’s doing this to maintain relevance. Her mom put her on Nickelodeon TV shows that became a huge hit. Looking back at the ugliness of her process is obviously going to look bad in hindsight but her mom set her up for fame and fortune. If she appreciated the career path she had the reboot iCarly to continue to pursue and make a living off of. For the circumstances her mom was in, Jennette could not have been able to become a millionaire in any other way
ОтветитьFeb. 18, 2004: Who is that outside my house? I don't recognize those people.
ОтветитьHey Edward VII ... are you enthused to go meet with mum Victoria? Or is your stomach in knots? Trembling and nauseous?
ОтветитьThis was such a well thought interview for how short it was
ОтветитьMy stepmom is evil she bullied me.
ОтветитьWow what a great interviewer, so many great and 'cut to the chase' kind of questions
ОтветитьI’m telling you, she hates the fans that watched her on ICarly, Sam and Cat, and every single show on Nickelodeon that she did. She’s just not showing it.
ОтветитьBoth of them wrote phenomenal memoirs.
ОтветитьUngrateful and narcisistic.
ОтветитьThis is literally the first time I’ve seen this guy. I’m not a fan of ‘late night shows’ … at all. Well done sir. I’m actually reading her book now.
ОтветитьRemember everyone, not all Moms cares about their children and not all moms aren't that kind to you and not all moms doesn't keep you safe they may be strict and abusive. But remember not every moms cares about you
ОтветитьMy mom died 10 years ago....I will NEVER say thanks for my mom died
ОтветитьHow disrespectful of Jennette McCurdy to say that she's glad her mom died!
ОтветитьI want to get this book SO bad!
ОтветитьWe WISH we all had that "she bear" mom to make us feel safe and loved.
ОтветитьWeirdly big ahhjs head. .
ОтветитьI think it's easier for people top live in denial regarding Patents so humanity could continue live on
ОтветитьShe is lucky, that is so young and lost her mother. Unfortunately mine is still alive...
ОтветитьI’ve seen a couple interviews about her and her book and I think Trevor and Drew did the BEST! Trevor actually prepared for the interview and asked such in depth questions. You can tell Jeannette really appreciated and respected how prepared he was. It was funny, light hearted, but we got the SAUCE from the interview. Great job Trevor! Also, great job for Jennette, for doing the work and helping others heal through their trauma by sharing her story.
ОтветитьSuch a powerful and necessary story she has told.
Ответитьi can't watch Icarly the same way poor Jennette
ОтветитьWhat a masterful interview.
ОтветитьTrying to forgive is still doing the work for them. Wow that hit home. ❤
Ответитьthis lady did what her mom didnt want her to do and thats GROW UP now that her mom is gone shes living her truth...PERFECT TITLE Bless her
Ответитьshe is remarkably articulate
ОтветитьI miss Trevor of tds :(
ОтветитьAbusive mothers. Absent fathers. The real American dream.
ОтветитьWhat a gem ✨
Ответить"...you dealing with the idea of a mom and how that competes or conflicts with your actual mom." Gold.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful interview!!!
ОтветитьMakes me so grateful to have had a Mother that was so kind, caring, loving, & joyful. I miss my Mom & wish I could spend some special moments together again just doing simple things like going for tea or shopping or picking out flowers at the greenhouse. 🌺🌻🌹🌷🌸
ОтветитьShe articulated so well exactly what she wanted to express and Trevor's questions were simply apt and perfect.
ОтветитьTwo LOSERs
ОтветитьImportant question that was missed-How does she feel about people who are fans of her old work? Like does she only associate her past with trauma or does she recognize that despite her pain she also made people laugh?
ОтветитьI haven't even read the book and yet I can see how Jennette McCurdy maintains class while being blunt opening up about her trauma.
ОтветитьI love how Jennette is always 100% herself. After a childhood of being fed a lot of BS by her mother, she's doing things on her own terms now, and she isn't trying to hide anymore. So refreshing.
ОтветитьI wanna watch ICarly rebooted version but knowing Sam isn't in it stops me.
Ответить"Whats wrong withme that I can't ge to that place of forgiveness?"
You can't forgive someone who never asked for forgiveness.
I almost skipped cause I felt like I’ve heard everything about this book and situation. Then I thought, nah he knows how to add a depth to these conversations that most interviewers don’t. Did not disappoint, love him so much.
ОтветитьUltimate sadness "Im glad my mother died" - Hollywood right there for you.. when all other topics are watered down then we turn against our mothers?
Who would have cared if she was not a Hollywood child? Blessings, healing and love to one and all 🙏💜🕉️Be grateful🙏💜
Why should she forgive the abuse, a mother that stole her life?
