Think this video is informative, but it includes nothing about the extensive gulag system that so bolstered the Soviet economy, particularly during Stalin's time. We have to wonder how much the soviet economy would have grown without its millions of "slave" laborers.

The ground reality is same for both economic system exploitation of the labor force in west it was achieved through consumerism = debt burden & in communism it was achieved through oppression so moral is in both system its the general population who pays the price and neither of the economic system actually benefited the mass but where capitalism thrived is able to create an illusion of good life.

Well, when you have everyone (who followed party lines and was not from the upper economic caste before the revolution) if course it would look like 0% unemployment. Everyone worked for the State. That does NOT mean that the economic conditions were good for the average man and woman. Everyone (with the exceptions in the upper party levels) was poor.
