Ответитьbro the ”saw trick” made my brain rot
ОтветитьHalf of these "hacks" are just common knowledge about the GD editor, and others are oversimplified, inefficient, or just straight-up misinformation. This channel could be so much more watchable if you took more time to fact-check your scripts and research your topic.
If you start putting as much effort into the writing as you did the editing, this could be one of the better GD channels, I tell ya.
This video has to be an inside joke 😭😭
ОтветитьBro cooked 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
And gave us salmonella 💀💀💀
EVERYBODY CAN SHUT THE HELL UP! i found this interesting and helpful as I'm not a good creator, this is a vid for the dummys who dont know how to build
Ответитьputting the boo in waboo
ОтветитьThe fact this still has more likes than dislikes is insane💀
Ответитьthis is what i call garbage content. it seems more like a joke, i couldn't take it seriously
probably one of the worst gd content i've ever seen, worse than AI or even kay guy and his crew
This video should get an award for the most yapping 💀
Ответитьoh hell nah wtf is this april fools video
ОтветитьThis video surely is a joke, right?
ОтветитьWaboo has just been feeding false information the past couple vids, each one getting worse, i cannot tell if this video is a joke or a social experiment, i don’t even create that often and i can tell these tips are terrible, i feel bad for anyone taking these seriously
ОтветитьWe making it to the recent tab with this one
Ответитьai generated bro 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьive been creating for about 3 years now, and this video is a complete disappointment, i mean its nice for beginners but this will NOT help most people in the long run.

ОтветитьYou should rewatch this video Waboo
You're worse than Aarathsa :)

Ответитьᴄᴀɴ ᴜ ᴅᴏ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴏғ ᴛʜɪs ᴛɪᴘs ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʀɪᴄᴋs ɪ ᴊᴜsᴛ sᴜʙs ᴜ! ❤
ОтветитьThis is peak geometry dash brainrot
Ответитьthis is so hilariously bad, I can't believe that there is something wrong with almost every single "hack" he mentioned, it seems almost like a joke
Ответить...Alright, cool. Let me know when you have some ACTUAL editor tips.
Ответитьfor your sake i hope this video is a joke
Ответитьman I love chatgpt
Ответитьaccidentally rotated my saw 3501 degrees in 15 seconds and it cut off my hand
Ответитьbro onto nothing
Ответитьi do think this type of content is still better than uploading shitty progress on extreme demons
Ответитьwtf
Ответитьwhat in tarnation is this
ОтветитьBuild hacks? nah this shi will ruin your levels
Ответить"Your geometry dash builds right now look horrible"
Me with 23 creator points: And I took that personal
you are NOT getting that sheep pfp with content like this
ОтветитьSome of these tips (definitely not all) could be really helpful for new creators! Great video for the most 👍 The hate is very undeserved in my opinion
Ответитьoops i accidentally watched this video before realizing that it was just 16 minutes of nothing but watch time.
ОтветитьGuys if you wanna get creating tips get them from people that know what theyre doing

blud thought it was April 1st😭😭😭
ОтветитьBro thought we wouldn’t notice 💀
ОтветитьIs this the same guy that made that stupid turn a spike into a level challenge and gave completely random ratings? To entries?
Ответитьgain experience in creating first please!
Ответить𝐓𝐈𝐏: add structures that do not effect the gameplay to fill up your ball and spider parts and make them less empty
ОтветитьThis guy has never opened the editor😭
Ответитьin my seven years of creating in this game, i've never seen a worse creating video than this. i'm honestly amazed that you still get away with the content you do, because it's genuinely bad. if any of youse are reading this comment, let me go over all of the bad tricks in the video and try to give you legitimately helpful advice from someone who actually knows what they're doing.
#1 - the orb pulses to the music, and the filler circle does not. this will end up looking really awkward in game.
#2 - only "don't fade" is used for preventing objects from fading out when they move off-screen. don't enter is used to disable enter effects on blocks. enter effects can be applied to blocks with triggers found at the end of their tab.
#3 - scaling up glow is fine, but i wouldn't do it past 5x scale. the reason for this is because the point at which the object is rendered does not scale up with the object's texture. this can cause the object to awkwardly disappear when it is not past the player, because the rendering point of the object is far enough away from the player that the game assumes it is safe to unrender the object, even though the texture has not moved fully off screen. one fix for this is to use a move trigger to lock the object to player x, which is a checkbox in the move trigger interface. set the glow to a group, say group 1, and place a move trigger near the center of the glow (preferably to the left of it). set the move trigger to move group 1, and check the box that says "lock to player x". set the move time to -1, which in the game, means infinite. when you play the level, the glow will stay visible at all times since it is now locked to the player's horizontal movement.
#5 - you need to be careful with the hitboxes of the speed portals and make sure that they remain somewhat sensible to the player. there's a checkbox in the editor pause menu that lets you show the hitboxes of objects, so use that to your advantage.
#6 - you can also use the X-Y scale button in between normal scale and warp. set the X-scale of the spikes to 0.50 for roughly the same effect.
#8 - be careful with techniques used by other creators so you don't have to deal with potential plagiarism. yes, it can even happen on small scales like this.
#10 - simply scaling down previous structures you've used does not add any more variation. you want to really get creative with the shape of structures you use, but that doesn't mean you have to go super unique for each individual structure. just make them look a little different from each other, it doesn't have to be huge.
#13 - there is an infinitely better way to adjust the rotation speed of a saw compared to using a rotate trigger. select the saw, then press the "edit special" button on the right side. click "custom", and you can adjust the rotation speed of your saw that way. you can also disable rotation all together this way.
#14 - again, plagiarism. it's not a thing people take lightly.
#18 - i'm gonna be real with you, it don't look that much better. just use the 3d line objects lmao
#24 - if memory serves me correctly, this trick was fixed in 2.2.
#26 - this is an ATROCIOUS idea. the player is constantly moving, which makes it extremely difficult to actually detect a color change. also, it's more of a reaction time test than anything. if you're going to add jump indicators to your level, you want to make sure they clearly indicate to the player where you need to jump. also, this solution would unironically use more objects than if you just placed each arrow on every jump.
#27 - firstly, not everyone has access to game modifications, myself included. telling people to use a mod when they don't have access to them is NOT a build "hack". but, if you do find the bpm, there is a trigger to help with this. with the bpm trigger, you can type in a song's bpm and it will automatically make guidelines in the level for you.
#30 - you need to be careful with original mechanics and make sure that they aren't annoying to the player. i've seen a lot of mechanics for levels recently that are more so annoying than intuitive.
#31 - this is not object efficient at all. you can actually get away with various brightnesses with just one object and one color. say you have a glow piece on blue blending. here's a little fact, black blending colors are actually invisible. so, you can use the hsv adjustment button in an object's color menu to adjust the brightness of it. so, you can have various brightnesses of blue by just using one color channel.
#35 - mobile players:
#37 - this only works in platformer mode, if that wasn't made obvious enough.
#51 - don't do this. just don't.
#55 - this causes a lot of problems. if you have a lot of triggers in your level, platformer mode will still activate the triggers like they would be in normal mode. this can cause visual or gameplay issues that wouldn't happen in normal mode. a better way to do this is, if possible, take a video of your level and go over it to see if anything needs fixing that way. and, if it comes down to the worst, you can just play it in normal mode and see if you can catch any errors.
#56 - this works with a lot of decoration objects, and honestly looks better with them instead of text. why would you use text??? why???
#62 - other arrows exist too. and also, you don't have to stick with just arrows. find creative ways to mark the path of the player's travel!
#63 - .....??????????????????????????????????????????
#72 - this is just mad ugly. also, it interferes with the level visuals by awkwardly warping objects around the player.
there is a trigger that disables fade effect at edges of screen. dont use Dont Fade
