Just remember you have to pay as well. 😂
ОтветитьHey man, I have a question, normally with a laptop you would get two audio outputs one for monitoring with headphones and one for the PA, how does that work with this setup, you didnt mention anything about that. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьHi What size is your DJ ipad? Also what iPad generation would you recommend? Many thanks.
Ответитьhi . i have a ipad 3 and pioneer wego . how can i connect them together . what i need . thanks
ОтветитьYou did a lot of talking but I didn't see you actually DJ with just the iPad.
ОтветитьThanks for the advise!
ОтветитьAs a publicly performing dj in more of the popular clubs from North Carolina to Destin and Panama City Beach Florida and for more than 15 yesrs. Starting back before the cdj's were a thing through the original sersto scratch live faze. I like the technology and what it does to spark the interest in people to the edm industry. But with pros come cons. And I experienced it first hand. College kids ask for a Mac book or an iPad for Xmas and mommy and daddy buy it for them then they download software like this and download remixes and mashups and tracks with scratching already in them and offer club owners who are used to paying real DJs like me that own 1000's in equipment and have more than $30,000 invested in music and videos, but offer club owners the concept of paying them a couple hundred bucks a weekend and free bar tab and let their underage girlfriend in for their dj services. Which is only the. Streaming music that dj's like me did live making mashups and scratching vinyl and they do it seamlessly with a sync button that does all the work for them. Sersto for the longest didn't have a sync button. And that's what seperated the powers from the real deal. A lot of us got undercut in the industry due to fly by night DJs like this guy is advocating for. If iPads where the future then you would see artist like Tiesto, David Guetta, and Kaskade using them. But you don't. What this guy doesn't understand is there is more to dj'ing than just playing tracks. There is showmanship, stage presence and the ability to play what needs to be played and not what they wanna play. DJ AM is rolling over in his grave at the technological advancements that are killing a dying art. An art this guy will never understand.
ОтветитьYes, I think you are very smart and I’m glad you made this video because it definitely opens peoples eyes and minds to what the future will bring. And that is definitely easier than setting up all the equipment that you have to set up to Dj an event.
ОтветитьHow do you cue (headphone) the music ?
ОтветитьHey Justin, love your enthusiasm. Do you have any links to a dj actually djing using the iPad? Have you done any sets that j you don't mind sharing with us?
ОтветитьWhat connector do you use? I need to power the iPad and have an audio out and headphones. I got one on Amazon but it broke immediately.
ОтветитьThe sound output on mine is distorted and crackling. Any idea why?
ОтветитьCan Spotify be used as well with dj pro?
ОтветитьHow did you open the search box in the video on iPad?
ОтветитьHi I’ve used the idj pro with the iPad for many years. Do you know if numark will ever release a new version of the idj pro . As mine is looking dated and I’ve got 2 . One for back up .
ОтветитьThis is something I was considering trying out. I got an iPad to use with the Reloop Buddy (and DJPro Software). I absolutely love the software!!! But I had some problems with my Reloop Buddy. First off it seemed super picky about what kind of power source I used and would not work with things that really should have worked, it was also inconsistent with things that worked in one place but then wouldn’t work in another. Secondly the output of the music quality sounded so bad!!!! I tried getting higher quality cords but that didn’t work. Mind you all these things I used to use with a pioneeer Dj-sr2 and Serrato. So I returned it. I considered getting another one in case it was just a fluke but haven’t yet. But this got me thinking could I just use the iPad alone?? When I would practice and make set points I would often do so with just the iPad. But I guess my big questions is: how do you DJ without using any headphones to preview songs? Do you just rely heavily on cue points?
ОтветитьWhich speakers?
ОтветитьAnyone know if this app can integrate Apple Music?
ОтветитьYes 100%.... 500 gigs later and i wouldn't change for the world
ОтветитьHi Justin, can you some how connect a
microphone to use whilst DJing??
What about a microphone to use whilst DJing???
ОтветитьCurious on how to use headphones for cue on rev1 ?
Ответитьi can use microSDXC to play my files from tablet ??????
Ответитьdoes it have to be an iPad Pro or can I do this with a 10th generation iPad
ОтветитьI DJ With The I pad Love It Just Started And you have Shown Me A lot Thank you
ОтветитьCan my music source be Spotify Apple Music, Amazon music? And still work with that app?
Ответитьand correction.. the days of Djing with a laptop is not over, one simply has options should you choose not to.
ОтветитьOk, how do you preview songs with a headphone? You need 2 Soundcards in order to do that. How to connect? I hav been told that you can't do that with that little multiport adapter. So please let us know.
ОтветитьCool content
It will let you learn how to dj
What to do if your iPad don't recognize your DJ controller
ОтветитьIf the question is posed like that, from my point of view you can answer with a clear conscience in the meantime: Yes, you can work as a DJ with the iPad - and I personally like that, I find the idea extremely charming. But you should take a few circumstances into account. With a controller and other external devices you have more possibilities to perform. In addition, the iPad brings with it some technical limitations. So you will always have to work with different adaptations. On a real gig, it's also usually problematic to pre-listen to a channel on the headphones, because the volume on the headphone output is much too low. And so there are a few other things that you should at least pay attention to.
I think it depends on what you want to achieve in the end.
I have wanted to do this for the last few years. Thanks for giving me the push to try something new.
ОтветитьJustin - your passion , knowledge & outright enthusiasm for all things Ipad/DJ Pro ..... is infectious !!!! Thank you for all your video's - theyre unique !!
