Cooked. Spitroasted. Charred. Well done. Burnt to ash. 2.5 second reload for a 58 damage alpha is criminal. His last saving grace is now gone. He's firmly C tier now. Two moves that leave him exposed and an alpha that tickles. The worst part? 4 alphas now trigger knockdown. That's right, his alpha is not only worse than every other character in terms of reload speed, it now also prevents combos as well. You get one alpha after a beta now.

Before he released he was the character I was most hype for hands down. I thought he would be able to retain like 8 quirks (just share the cooldowns or something) and/or be able to upgrade them (toga can literally already do this). He got neither, instead getting a budget toga special action. He was ALREADY WORSE. Damn MHUR for this travesty.

I don't mind the Special Action nerf since that is actually pretty fair, but they should absolutely give Toga the same thing. Not have ONLY him with the nerf.

As for the alpha, they really didn't need to do anything with that. It was fine as is.

If they plan to keep Afo in this state, they should make to where his stolen quirk skill levels match his base skill level since switching is such a high commitment, unlike Toga.

I feel like the argument about red dabi being single target is kinda valid, but I don't think any character should do 230ish damage at LEVEL 1 with a move that NEVER misses. Not to mention all of the bugs that are still around

I’ve been playing no one but AFO for week straight first of all I’m not a big fan of his alpha change but I understand where there coming from with it but I think they could have left the damage as is and only nerfed the combo as for his special action change it definitely sucks but I’ve found ways to play around it

Now I just let them pull me in knowing that there is a knock back 😅

To be blunt: Bandai Namco has never been great at multiplayer games. They can make fun games, but balancing and making "good deals" on gacha, etc. yeah, no.

I GOT A 10 KO, 6k damage with tech dabi and soloed overhaul and strike dabi in solos. I’m not the best dabi bc I rely on levels but I’m very proud of myself. Just armor gamma tbh

To dodge a dabi grab you need to roll into him. If you roll backwards or sideways, he will be close enough to grab you still after the roll

I think this change is overall good for the game, it lowers the amount of people getting pulled and instantly killed by afo and his team. Knocking someone down is not all that bad with afo since his oki is pretty good between his gamma, beta, and charged alpha, I think having to interact with your opponent is what makes this game more fun than other brs. I don’t really like the special action changes, I think they should have just made it not reset cooldowns when you transform, to incentivize you to stay in the transformation, they could do that to toga too. I still have faith in the game and it makes me sad to see the community so upset and full of complaints lately, though I do understand where it comes from.

I get the issue with Red Dabi and Red Deku but isn exactly that the same issue with AFO? Like... You said that people will no longer dominate with him... For me that means that he is balanced and that the only ones to complaint about him being more balanced in the game, are the ones who depend on him being a character that is too powerfull in comparison with others allowing easy domination in the match. I mean... Thats my personal opinion.

One of the strongest characters in the show, can lose to most of the side characters with these nerfs. Electric head is still one of the top menaces in the game💀

Toga needs to lose access to sucking up blood, switching, dumping and repeat without any CD whatsoever. I genuinely hate playing Overhaul now because I know my own special action is gonna be my downfall and the reason I lose the fight. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to kill a Toga as Overhaul with level 1 quirks? Damn near impossible because the damage you dish out isn't nearly enough before she can switch to you then special action and repeat.
