I'll probably have to file a real support request, but I foumd a real annoying artefact, that I hope stems from my inexperience.
I used the Authoring Plugin to handle a piano as a stereo bed and have a mono voice circle around the listener. I'm outputting to Binaural
When crossing my back, it sometimes gives out a really obnoxious sounding artefact, which doesn't show always, but could be recreated.
I also set the output to 7.1.4H and let Virtuoso handle the binaural rendering - same thing.
Maybe there can be times, when the shift from one side to the other behind the back, can double the signal?

But other than that, solid work and definitely overkill for my usecase but I love to learn so I keep at it.

Greetings from Munich

I went from AC3 to AAC to now OPUS to compress my already lossy movie audio files. How does MPEG-H compare in terms of compressibility?
OPUS sounds great at 96kb/s per 16bit 48kHz channel, as good or better than AAC at 128kb/s and MP3 at 160kb/s. Does MPEG-H make improvements here that would be relevant, for example, for home-streamers that rely on narrow-bandwidth through their relatively slow home-upload-speed?

Are there any software players that supports playback of MPEG-H audio?

How many AV receivers support this? None I guess. MPEG H broadcast and decoding is only available in south Korea.

Besides the extra bag of tricks, like dialog language replacement, specifically, how is MPEG-H 3D any different from consumer Dolby Atmos? More allowable per-speaker addressable discrete audio objects without spatial compression (basically, audio object lumping and speaker zoning of closely placed objects to save storage space at the expense of 3D spatial resolution) at one time? Higher resolution than just 24 bit/48 kHz for audiophile music use? Etc.

Plus, does MPEG-H have a bit-for-bit lossless encoding mode for the best possible studio master quality reproduction in the home? Does MPEG-H have a standardized speaker configuration for mixing content like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, or Auro3D or AuroMAX?

Thanks!
