Dundonald Grave B2 413 Search Draws a Blank

Crawford from Canada? contacted me after seeing my Dundonald cemetery walk round video. He asked me to locate a grave and video the headstone. i thought to myself that this shouldn't be too difficult. The name on the grave headstone was Bennett and it lay in Section B2 Plot Number 413. I was up for the task. -I'm always interested in helping folk out and always interested in dropping into any Belfast graveyard. Unfortunately, the search proved to be, not quite as simple as I had anticipated. Dundonald cemetery graves are not necessarily laid out in numerical order. Most graves do not have a number. So locating an old grave like this was a mind-boggling affair. I ended up thinking that the grave I wanted was covered in thick undergrowth. This was a huge disappointment. However I haven't given up the chase just yet. I will not be beaten! I will return to the cemetery when the office is open. Hopefully they will have a cemetery map so that I can work out the exact location of the Bennett grave. Sorry Crawford. -I haven't given up on this. I'm still working on it.
