ZOOM G1Xon amp sim sound demo, cab modelling off

Thanks a lot for the video. It seems that the amps simulations gain some clarity with this configuration, altough I am not very sure that this is the best way to get a good sound with this pedal. My intended way of amplify this is in one hand, to buy a combo amp with an fx loop and connect it that way (using only the amps in the Zoom) or in the other hand to buy some kind of FRFR powered speaker. Even a EH Caliber 22 and a guitar cab would do the job. What are your thoughts about the video?

NEED HELP URGENTLY.....how do i select the different kind of pedal effects..like different types of wah...when ever i select the padal in the add an effect ..the only effect added if pedal VX(something like that).....PLEASE HELP I CANT SELECT THE DIFFERENT EFFECTS OF DISTORTION.OVERDRIVE.REVERB. ETC..\

Hey Krach thanks for the post. Not sure but the Z Wild effect you weren't sure about may be a characteristic Zakk Wyld sound/simulation. as i said, not sure but the tone is very Zakk-esque.

Is the processor connected directly to an amp?? sounds GREAT!! i have the same one but i have feedback and noise problems when connecting it to my VOX AC15 amp... especially when it comes to distortions... do you know how can i fix this?? Thx!

This is not a very good review. I can't hear what you are saying because of the guitar sound , and I can't really appreciate the guitar sound, because it seems as if the amp is in the room next door, plus you interfere with your voice. You must speak and THEN play, and then speak again, and so on. Not mix the two. On top of that, 9min into the video and all you have tested is heavy driven sounds. It's in the CLEAN sounds that you can judge the quality of a modeling gadget...

I currently have this unit...love it!  I am interested in running it, directly into a pair of self-powered speakers. Just using for home practice. What would you recommend?

Sorry to say that, but It is a cheap multi effect pedal and it also sounds cheap. Bit like out of a tin can, and with some artifact noises. But it has a huge! amount of possibilities and simulations. You have to change all of the wayyy to exaggerated presetings, to your taste. No comparison to the “line 6-pod 2“- have both! The line 6 in my practice room, its perfect! the zoom in the living room, it fulfilles somehow its purpose there. Got both for 45€ each.
