If anyone does or keep doing vanlife all their reasons are valid. Anyone leaves vanlife for any reasons their reasons are also valid. Following your dreams is a great goal, and sometimes those dreams change. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for you guys!

You had some valid points ,I was curious on the interior View of van right around the 6 min 30 second segment looked like a freshly built wood wall and ceiling and later looked like you painted or stained to a really dark top coat. ?? Why Why Why. Would have looked so much better clear coated ? Covers up all the natural beauty of the Wood , thanks for making the Video.

Haters gotta hate. oOne time I was overnighting by a park, this one dude came up and called me a homeless bum... then as he was talking shit he noticed Ive got my MSI gaming laptop, and ps5 running, then stopped talking shit, sat down on my floor watched me play Baldurs gate 3 (it just came out) then walked away dumbfounded that ive got better stuff than him.
Oh and he asked whats my foot rest, he got shocked when I said its the AC200P (a decent size portable battery) that I just put under my laptop table because theres no other place to put it, plus its a lot easier to plug in the solar panels for it.

I have my laptop table facing the outdoor via the sliding door, and the my mounted TV right next to it...

Funniest moment for him was when he realize that the technology is now so much better than the last time he heard about it, he ended up being so intrigued by my setup, that he wanted me to showcase him my van... I didnt, I just told him that i have a lot of technology in my van, including the mounted solar panels on top of my van. Yes I have a portable solar panel for my AC200P, and mounted solar panels for my mobile home (1s for wants, and another for need) which powers my lights, fridge, and whatever I need to have powered.

Its funny, all he did was sit there and watch me game and run all my stuff, before he left he asked who built my van, I said I did. Was gonna hire me to make him 1, I told him nah, too much work lol. But dude definitely changed his mind about vanlife.

It did seem to be a trend, young attractive people who seem to have parents to fall back on or just run to.
I have done van life and it is hard work, but the rewards outweigh the challenges.
Blessings to everyone, even former van lifer's who are about to join the corporate world again.

I grimace every time I see “everyone.” Nothing is ever that simplistic. Read thru the comments below and you’ll see the truth. SOME people are changing it up by starting, slowing, stopping, trying, delaying…. 😅

This should be called "why the privileged are quiting the van life".
As rent and the prospect of owning property is fading away in the U.S. "middle class people are moving into the van life, whether they like it or not.

Living in a car or Van is where do you go when you have IBS and how do you set up a source of electricity internet and water and hygiene washing your private parts daily. When you go number 2 it's a must to wash your back side after going. Food is the easy one. Well if you don't have teeth then it's more of an issue. And sleep people walking around your outside home. And city life noises emergency police sirens and construction. I'm just naming a few things. And not everyone has money to build a van into a private condo. Sorry I'm just a veteran I see life differently. And I'm a guy.

You are very well spoken, clearly comfortable in front of the camera. I watch a lot of vanlife channels. Somehow never found you. So what's next? You didn't say. Yes, I agree something's in the air. A lot of the vanlifers I have enjoyed watching are now settling down, building a homelife, having babies, etc. Seems life is all about striking a balance. I was a homelifer most of my life -- career, children, mortgage, animal rescue work. But 2004 - 2007 I lived full-time in a little motorhome, driving around the U.S. Loved it and still so much I'd like to see; but timing is important... I'm almost 70 now. Anyway, the best to you both in your life's journey. Enjoy!
