Light from Betelgeuse takes around 750 years to reach earth - so we're seeing it as it was in the year 1274

So Betelgeuse is what ?? 400 light years away right ??
So it’s gonna take at least 400 years before any effects will arrive in our solar system .
By then we all will be already several hundreds years passed away .. so I am not afraid ..
let it happened …
The problem is for the next 20 generations to organize an evacuation of our planet .. for that the future generations will have at least 400 years of time to achieve such task
This event will unite humanity , will stop the existence of money banks etc etc
By that humanity will unite and build the several space ships that able us to live this planet
So I am totally not worried about Betelgeuse.
Actually I am very happy if Betelgeuse go’s to supernova has that will destroy the power of rich lobby’s , banks etc etc uniting humans to work together for an mass planetary evacuation
The only thing is if it go’s with an gamma ray and if that gamma ray is accidentally pointed in the direction of our Mother Earth then it is end of game .. but it still may need at least 200-400 years to arrive here .
Plenty of time to evacuate our planet
Sooooo come on Betelgeuse go supernova I can’t wait to get rid of those rich motherfkrs who are ruing the world right now

Yes, i dont understand it much, but i think, what were seeing today, is just a single ray of the aftermath explosion, i e the light & gas energy from the supernova that happened so long ago that we didnt know due to distance in ferrence, so that what were of it is the past of its cycle & eventually its future finalle showing in many different emission lines, maybe. !!!

True. If Betelgeuse where to detonate today we would not be alive to see it. Unless some fantastic breakthroughs in life extention or cryogenics are made.

It's 640 light-years away, we'll be long dead before anything could affect us, and what is traveling that far to damage us?

Even when Betelgeuse explodes, we will not feel any change.
... We will see it beautifully in the sky, first as a white spot, but then it expands and will generate some of the supernova cloud shapes, but it is too far away to harm us or to do damage to anything.

Knowing that we are in the Age of the Apocalypse since the age of 12, I have been expecting a cosmic event to occur. And Betelgueses could be just that event. Of interest Betelgeuese means 'the coming' and Jesus himself indicated that his second 'coming' will be heralded by cosmic events.
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring."

Betelguese is 400 to 600 light years from earth, at that distance there would only be a light show. But if Betelguese for some reason emitted a gamma ray burst and the burst was pointed at our system we might have a big problem.

So if they know it will happen why are they not building vast underground tunnels for the population? although the Earth needs a cull! But we built the channel tunnel so why not make more tunnels for this kind of event.

Appreciate your thoughts....however...science has stated many times that looking into the stars is like looking into the past...the further we look out...the farther back in time we go...something like this you should first say how long light takes to get from there to earth

Out of 2500, already 2000+ predictions from the Bible have become true; some happening right now. What you say here concur most likely with what Peter had written to the diaspora, in that Earth will be destroyed by fire. Extreme climate change and heat was also predicted in The Revelations. Interesting.

It’s not a mystery! Jesus said he will protect the believers and the rest will be baptized with fire. There’s your fire right there. Ask for forgiveness and repentance is very important or you will die for sure. Save yourself in Jesus name!!

It was not a dust cloud ! Plasma by it self can not create dust to the best of all my understanding without some grain like structure being introduced , I question what grain like structure could exist at the temperatures within Betelgeuse's chromosphere . Plasma being a state of matter somewhere between the solid and gaseous , consisting of ions and charged electrons , that give off massive energy when they (the molecules) collide . So the mysterious question would be what could possibly be of microscopic molecular scale and solid within the corona of Betelgeuse to become introduced into the plasma and what process could have caused the energy to do so . The answers given so far , have been far to simple . Lets try to share the truth soon .
