How to Transfer Music from Computer to iPhone

May I use an old Android phone as a source for my iTunes library , it’s my sister’s computer because the one our family usually uses is out of commission because of the AC adapter port being broken,or do I copy all of my songs to the hard drive or can they read off of my old Android phone

Having not used iTunes in a while, the issue I can't seem to get around is when I select "sync" it pushes what's on my phone to the iTunes app on the PC. I don't want to sync my entire catalog on the PC to the iPhone because it doesn't have enough storage. Just the playlists/songs I'm going to listen too for now.

How do you sync just the playlists you create on your PC? And not have the phone's playlists/settings overwrite the PC playlists?

got itunes installed got my music to show up in itunes but it wont let me drag it to my phone which also shows connected its an iphonex

How do you keep iTunes from deleting everything on my phone when it syncs? It just happened to me again.

I chose"Entire music library" but it didn't work.Maybe because I have 870 songs.I had to choose one by one album.

thanks but can you then listen to your music being offline ? My app is demanding me to be connected to wifi in order to listen the album I just syncronised between itunes and the iphone :/

When I was doing it on the iPod it was easy , just all on iTunes but my iPod craped out so now I have to put on phone and you have to do it this way , what a pain .

Using iTunes to manage my FLAC Music Library is the dealbreaker for me switching back to Apple.

I successfully transferred 24 songs all at once, but I have a further question. They transferred because I set the source as a zip drive folder, not the individual files. Now all I have is the individual files. They are all from the same musician, but how can I put them into a folder on the phone?

Have been using Linux (Garuda recently) with an Android phone for years. I would just connect the phone with a USB C cable and drag and drop music folders - done. Just bought a Mac Mini (I like it but it won't be so simple) and I do not wish to buy an optical drive so I have to use my Windows 10 desktop with itunes installed to rip cd's. Thanks for the tutorial.
