Sometimes I want to slap Devon right in the face when he is talking about his own opinions (or just looks way too smug), but he is always both entertaining and interesting to listen to. He really does seem to be a wellspring of legal knowledge and has a mostly great presence on camera.

I do wish he would slow his cadence a little bit. He sounds a bit too much like the triple speed legalese at the end of medication commercials (which tbh, is not surprising in the least, he is a lawyer after all).

It is important to listen to those who you disagree with or rub you the wrong way or whatnot. It is also important to stop at simply wanting to slap someone and not actually doing it. The former keeps you of of being stuck in an echo chamber and the latter keeps you out of jail.

So the scrambler didn't actually increase the radar reading, your lawyer pressed the trigger as he was "pointing" the radar gun which caused the radar to detect the speed of the objects in the room "flying by" as he aimed the gun toward the detector.

It would make sense that the radar gun detected speed. Even immobile you're never REALLY immobile, you're always traveling 9.18 feet per second per second with Earth. It's kind of like taking the Coriolis effect into account as a sniper, the earth is constantly moving and so too is everything on and around it and you have to compensate for it. Why a radar gun is detecting motion at all here is a mystery to me but it's still cool.

The plate cover you can use it definitely for other purpose but not on the road.

About the only place I could see that license plate cover being actually useful is... Autocross events. Some provinces in Canada have insurance companies that are rather picky about such things, which is sad, because it's literally people going into a safe area to practice something that improves their driving skills, and they have fun.

Unfortunately, it's really hard to beat the standard cover of cardboard and gaff tape, because such does it well, and is easily removed just before you leave the event...

Damn, this black license plate cover is killer. Problem is i live in a town that doesn't have many Ferraris; so that fact alone makes it moot when im doing 165 doing the highway (which i have done, a few times). They'll find me. Only thing you can do 100% is not haul ass in your sports car on public roads unfortunately.
