Are any of these devices compatible with public library ebooks?
ОтветитьDoes it actually go to goodreads are can I just add my books to list
Ответитьamazon isn't open market. you need a Japanese address to buy Japanese books.
Ответить"Three-Way" Comparison. WHAT ARE THESE TITLES?!
ОтветитьDo you think the touch response on the Kobo can be fixed with a software update? My PaperWhite 11 highlights SOOO much better than the Clara 2E, and the Kindle is just overall so much faster and more responsive. If that is a hardware limitation on Kobo, I will probably return it because it often does not register my actions on the screen!!
ОтветитьIt would be great to see a new review category for side loading drm free books, supported formats, and third party library support if any. Great video regardless!
ОтветитьI don't trust the Nook and Barnes and Noble as I lost a load of books when they went out of the UK market and sold to Sainsbury's I think and a lot didn't transfer over.
ОтветитьI love Kindle ereaders. I don't see myself switching anytime soon. I have been intrigued by the Kobo and love their incorporation of Overdrive/Libby. I wouldn't pass up a deal on the Kobo, just so I could try it out. Like Barnes & Noble as a brick and mortar store, not sure I want to shop exclusive online from them however.
ОтветитьFor kobo you can change the market in the website, and then stays in the ebook too. At least in my case using the kobo libra 2
ОтветитьI came here to see how the other 2 stack up to kindle because I want to get away from the Amazon ecosystem. They are highly preparatory and are deleting series arbitrarily. I was reading how not to summon a demon Lord on kindle services but now they no longer offer that series and I will have to bounce between eReaders or rebuy the series on the other service. There is also no guarantee that they will not delete my library "on accident" or due to stopping service. Kobo seems the most open to the open EPUB standard of the eReaders so far and that to me is a major selling point in their favor.
ОтветитьI would’ve love the kobo software on the nook hardware, and the Kindle bookstore.
ОтветитьGood comparison. Interesting to see them side-by-side.
ОтветитьTo me, and I'm in Portugal, the best option in terms of store (books in Portuguese) and formats compatibility (because I can always use ebooks from other stores and the ones I already purchased) I think it would always have to be the Kobo.
I received the Clara 2e as a birthday present and I am loving it.
I felt that problem with that narrow touch field at the begining, had trouble mainly accessing the footnotes touching the number that took me to the footnote and then same trouble to go back, kept missing it, was very frustrating.
Now, don't know if I got used to it or if there was an update that fixed that, don't have any trouble at all (even using small font and narrow spacing).
I totally recommend the Clara 2e to those who, like me, don't care much about the Amazon store
Vs Boox poke 4 too please
ОтветитьThey all have their high points. It depends on what is important to you I guess.
ОтветитьDoes the Clara have overdrive? My Kobo Libra has it, I thought all Kobos had that access to the library.
ОтветитьI'm a long time nook user, I don't think I can switch at this point I love it
Ответитьso what its saying os that amazon is good at marketing and people dont look around
ОтветитьKindle still the king of ereaders.
ОтветитьI love Kobo! <3
ОтветитьI love my Nook GlowLight 3 and 4
