All 3 phones are on the same level. So the camera is no longer the reason to choose one or the other device. Rather, it is the software, the update frequency and the maybe the new Ai Features which usually influence the decision.

I feel like VIVO you can do more post with, than the other two, then samsung, and then iPhone. iPhone has way too much post processing and I think that becomes problematic when you try to color grade later. It's great for no fuss, they have a decent algorithm. vivo just seems like it does nothing with their photos and videos. Samsung has a nice balance. Edit: One thing I HATE about the S24 Ultra is I take a photo of my dogs, for a split second the photo upon review in the gallery looks fine and then Samsung is like: "oops let's make the clear focal point of this photo not the dogs." And it has destroyed so many images.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is unbelievably good this year. Definitely much better than all previous models. Sure Vivo wins quite a few scenarios BUT Chinese ROM is a big disadvantage. From my experience it's nearly impossible to resell Vivo for any reasonable money - prepare to lose a lot. Regarding the photo quality, the difference is not like day and night. So win win for Samsung.

In vivo, you can reduce contrast and saturation in vivid mode. And add brightness in zeiss mode.

Vivo's weakness is still the video. They've been focusing on improving their images for years that it is starting to get behind in terms of their video. They probably aiming to get a Professional Camera look in terms of Image and not video. Slightly disappointed with the potential

I think, in the Android/iOS race, it's either Samsung or Pixel devices. A phone's hardware is only as good as its software and the only brands that receive considerable OS updates are Samsung and Google on the Android side. So unless you are willing to upgrade year over year, those other brands are a complete no-no.
