Rob Conery - Document Storage Techniques with PostgreSQL and JSONB

I realize this is older video but I learned alot. I'm just getting into document management. I guess my vision of document management is different types of documents such as Excel or Word or PDFs or whatever. This talk implies all documents have to be valid Json. Am I thinking about document management all wrong?

I really wish I can talk like Rob. Great style, pace, and voice and storytelling .

what if I have datetime data or numeric data where I need to perform > or< operation on these data type. How is performance there ?

Question, with mongodb 4 supporting Acid, does it still make sense using postgres as document DB?
