I hope they update officials to be less miserable this time, I will literally take having slightly more food of spawn, all I wanna do is not starve to death 6 times before getting a good run

Dayz is mostly played by people on private servers so it’s weird to think they still have players relying on someone to edit code for said server if they want dependable spawn points that make it easier to link up. Also it would be great if there was an optional setting to set respawn sleeping bags or something like most other games since most players just have alt accounts on standby anyway. Just cut out the middle man already.

Recently i thought that dayz is done with proper updates bt it seems i was wrong. Really interesting stuff, I have always wanted to see more interesting locations on the game like underground bunkers, happy to see that something like that is finally coming!

They should make the game kinda harder... sounds stupid but after a couple thousand hours, dying to the environment and not to players is nearly impossible. add stronger zombies, more wild ferocial animals, more diseases, poisonous mushrooms and so on

If the skybox and lighting images are what we are getting. No need for DayZ 2 at all.

I was getting bored of DayZ. I mean Fanny packs really? But this? This is captivating. It's gathered my interest. I will be checking out what's going on this next wipe now as to where I thought I was done for awhile

cant wait till i am an old man so i can play Day Z 3 on Unreal 8 and with maps the size of those of Arma.

I wonder if this bunker has any sort of puzzle

Just FYI the ATLAS server owner is under investigation by the IRS. Mans been taking donos without reporting it. Anyone in the community and any communities that are associated with them may want to break ties before shit hits the fan.

New trucks would be amazing but I wish console would get more maps

Why oh why they can't make the wolves Warewolfs for Halloween, blows my mind. Imagine them 2x as big and glowing yellow eyes. Would be terrifying at night and having a pack of them hunt you.

It would be cool if the new truck acts as some sort of portable base

"Lord of the Dead" is either a strong form of infected or the first ever official npc survivor "boss" like the ones you find in Tarkov. Doubt it's anything supernatural.

My friend, Dance Of Jesus, is behind all this goodness. I used to play with him back in the day (along with Archie Stormcloud who I still play with on occasion). The day Bohemia hired him was a major win.

I cannot emphasis how badly I want more enemies in the game. Screw the milsim theme, I want haunted forests and crytids roaming around making those 5-15km at a time hikes actually risky instead of just 20 or 40 minutes of dead time that I’m not really playing a game; I’m doing a chore

Those halloween event mummy zombies roaming a haunted carnival that spawns at least some of the highest tier loot, a wendigo like creature that screeches and howls and attacks players at night in the woods, and even some kind of genuine boss at a location or bunker that needs to be squaded against to stand a decent chance.

The lord of the dead should a crown called, Crown of the dead, which makes you completely invisible to infected

Is coming to console as well and before guys say anything about me playing dayz on console I can't play on PC because I don't have one yet but I will plus I do enjoy playing on console too tho tbh I like all platforms but ya anyways just wondering if this is also coming to console as well or just pc

Be good to expand on the lost survivor narrative of the game , while i enjoy the military side of things more of the bare bones stuff would add more value

On the xbox server old man they have a supply crate that spawns, a red half crate filled w ~20 zombies, and surrounded by a swarm, containing various rare magazines. Its static iirc w a red smoke. ~200m south east of nw airfield. Maybe this is the crate spaw

I knew it and I’m disappointed! I absolutely love the industrial / firing range part of NWAF it’s a dam shame they’re loosing that part of the map I’ve had so many more pvp encounters there than anywhere else on NWAF it’s crazy and if you’re groups large or brave enough the construction site makes for a crazy base location!
