How to create barcodes in Excel that WORK!

If you only need a few of them, Microsoft Word can create barcodes and QR codes using field codes. That's another kind of learning project, I guess, but it works nicely once you get the hang of it.

Hi Leila, over 10 years ago I made a barcode generator in Excel 2010 without using VBA. I used it for years in the company I worked for - it worked perfectly.

Love your videos, there is always something to learn even though I'm in my 70s.

but how i mapped my articles regarding my product with barcode when someone scanned my barcode it shows detail of my products as you have scanned the barcode from your mobile please reply

Sorry but i am no sure why all the comments are so happy. You did not show us how to make a barcode IN ANY WAY. You have made your own barcode and you are just showing us what YOU done. Not the steps on how we can.

I’ve been using the Free 3-of-9 fonts that make generic barcodes very easy to automate using VBA. Are you aware of any way to generate Datamatrix barcodes within Excel without utilizing Add-ins? @Leila Gharani

Great explanation however when I change the type to a number greater than 3, I get an error message stating that This value doesn't match the data validation restrictions defined for this cell. Is there a reason what the 1st number cannot be 4-9? Comments welcome
