This was beyond helpful thank you so much! I just started making tiktoks of my own, and was just using the capcut app but this helps me so much!
ОтветитьThis is great starter advice im not familiar with tiktok and i would love to get into. Hopefully this could also be a good way to get me to read more!😅
ОтветитьThank you for SHOWING instead of just telling---very helpful!
ОтветитьThank you! You just shed a light on one of the biggest mystery on tiktok😂
ОтветитьSuch an amazing video! Thank you for sharing this! I’m new to posting on BookTok and this really helped ❤️ one thing that I do that might help you, or other people reading this comment is for the hashtags on the video caption, I save some hashtags in my notes so I can copy and paste them to the caption to save some time and then tweak some of them to make them appropriate for the video 😊
ОтветитьThanks for the video. This is really helpful for a TikTok newbie like me. All I need now is the courage to post something!
ОтветитьOmg you made this look so easy
ОтветитьA fantastic video. I had no idea one can make such videos in such a short time. Blame me on age. Do you do nonfiction books? And if so, how can I get you make a review for me that I can use on my social media?
ОтветитьHi Bethany. Good video. I've been taking notes. Two questions: You're talking about promoting other people's books. How about one's own? A couple of online TikTok guidance sites say you should only promote your own "thing" on about 20% of your posts. Do you agree, or is it different when you're directing the video to BookTok?
Second, you suggested keeping the video to 60 seconds, such as for sharing on Instagram. Some of these sites say keep it to 15 seconds, especially when one is new and not recognized yet. What do you think about that?
Do you stop the video between transitions or just pause it? If you stop it, how do you connect them?
ОтветитьBeen wanting to start a booktube and a book-tok channel but I hardly have hard-copy books, book-tokers and book-tubers seem to only use hard-copies for their videos. Kinda makes me hesitant.
ОтветитьThank you
I just started booktok and this will help me
How you do this if you gonna just gonna reccomend ebooks
ОтветитьHey, that was a huge help. As an author of about 35 books, I'm finally moving into the personal marketing end of things. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is a great video! Thanks so much, from this Gen X author!!
ОтветитьThank you this helped orient me!
ОтветитьI've got my video on TikTok and when I tried to get it on to Booktok it ended up next to the one I've already put on TikTok so I've got two the same on TikTok. Did I miss something? How do I get it on to Booktok?
ОтветитьThis was amazing and very helpful. I love the background music that you used for the editing. What is it called and where can I find it?
ОтветитьWhere would you get the review from?
ОтветитьThank you for the instructions. So helpful!!! I am a librarian and would love to make Book Toks but had no idea how to start. Now I think I'm ready to give a try.
ОтветитьI’m a fanfiction writer who started writing my debut novel and I want to grow my reader audience to lead people to my debut novel when it’s out but my tiktoks hasn’t been engaging
ОтветитьCannot find an app for booktok on my iPhone
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing this vid. New indie author and I’ve been wanting to learn how to do content for my TikTok. This has been super helpful🥰 now following you on TT😊
ОтветитьThank you very much. Love from Sri Lanka!
ОтветитьI just started a tiktok, so this is so helpful. Thank you!! 💕
ОтветитьThis was helpful, thank you! Could you tell me how to add smaller pictures to a video as it goes on?
ОтветитьSo to do book tok You just put in the hashtag booktok? thank you
ОтветитьExtremely helpful video, especially for a perfectionist like me who gets discouraged about having multiple takes. I'm just starting my TikTok so this was the BEST video for me to watch. Thank you so much for the advice and how-to's!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьThis was great. I've never done TikTok and was wondering about how people edit for those transitions.
ОтветитьThis is so helpful! Thank you
ОтветитьI'm just starting out on Tiktok and this video couldn't have come at a better time! I don't know if I'll be able to post content more than once a day but I'm hoping to work up to three times as I get more familiar with the process. I'm such an introvert that I'll probably freeze like a deer in the headlights but practice makes perfect, right!
ОтветитьThank you for making this.
ОтветитьI would love more videos like this! So helpful—thank you so much. ☺️
ОтветитьThank you so much!!! I love booktok, but feel so incompetent when it comes to making videos. Your video helps a lot. Question: How do you add the text answers people point to in the Intro to BookTok videos?
ОтветитьThis was so stinking helpful. I just shared it with some of my other author friends who want to dive into tiktok. Thanks for simplifying it! <3
ОтветитьWhat is the software to download for editing?
ОтветитьThose transitions were GREAT. Nicely done! As someone who is JUST starting on TikTok (literally tonight), it's nice to see how relatively simple it is to make some cool content.
ОтветитьCan you explain how I would add a photo of a book I read from a Kindle!
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьDarn...why this lady takes forever to get to the point
ОтветитьVery informative, Is there any possibility of obtaining a transcript from you (a gorgeous woman)
ОтветитьJust joined tiktok and my publisher wants me to do a video about my book. Can I somehow adapt the 1- minute trailer I made?
ОтветитьThank you! This was so helpful!
ОтветитьJust started my booktok - I'm an indie author and was totally clueless so this video has been absolute gold for me. Thank you!!
ОтветитьThank you x
ОтветитьThis is seriously such a great and helpful video! It was suggested to me on Google and I am surprised to see there aren't more comments and likes. You explained things so well and I appreciate you walking through the TikTok filming and editing process (which I've done, but I'm new, so it's helpful for me to see others do it). Thank you!
