Whats crazy about the crime bill is they put a bunch of those minimums in place but did not have them, or had lesser minimums for child predators or assault perpetrators.

Like they put mandatory minimums for possession but didnt have them for committing petty theft 60 times.

At my employer when it's determined that you're going to be fired or voluntarily quit, they will let you go immediately. They will pay you for 2 weeks not to work instead of remain with the company. The reason is obvious. They don't want you causing damages to the company because you don't care anymore. It would be great if the presidency worked the same way.

The gun and drug stuff strikes me as a diversion. I think the Burisma stuff is a lot more serious than the usual political bribery. If Joe Biden was honest he would've told Hunter to quit and if that didn't work Joe would've come out publicly against what Hunter was doing to make it clear Joe wasn't in on it.
