I spent two days farming the resonance scepter from princess just to find out it's no where near worth it when I already have lunar flare and I don't even play mage. I was trying to make forbidden work but for summoner but there's just no reason not to use stardust armor.
While killing her, a mothron killed my nurse during a solar flare and it took her four ingame days to respawn, pmus another two for the princess.
It was hell.
I imagine in early hardmode if you have her it may be worth it, but so not as it is.

dude i killed my guide by accident with my mace when holding left click down and killing some zombies near him he actually took dmg and my mace was so strong that it killed him so quickly lol

I haven’t tried on new updates yet, but old gen console easiest way but expensive (and later in the game) is land mines. Works on all NPCs without any extra. Just set it in their room and wait for the carnage.

I have a Guide named Andrew, but he never dropped the Green cap and, according to the Wiki, the Green cap was introduced to the 3DS version.

I tried equipping the Guide voodoo doll, didn't work. I tried a thin layer of lava, didn't work. I tried summoning the wall of flesh, didn't work.


Is my map glitched or something?? I have the most recent available update for the 3DS and it was a new map.
