Turkey was a buffer zone between Europe and asia it was sometimes or most of time considered under european influence as this land was mostly heart land of greek byzentine empire or Eastern roman empire but we can't deny that turkey has mostly influence in middle east also

Yeah, we are the best ally of NATO alliance when things start to get out of hand and we are the worst in the peace time. Now whole western media talks about Bayraktar TB-2 it's quite funny that they never mention how they embargoed whole process, our so called allies didn't supply us with crucial equipment for drones or other weapons. There's a proverb in Turkish which is like "A bad neighbour made us own our own house." which is mostly used talks when it's on Bayraktar. Our bad allies didn't supply us even embargoed us and made us overcome this, producing one of the best armed UAVs in the world. Turkish foreign policy always have to stand on relying on ourselves, because we are an ally to our allies but our "so called" allies are not. S400s and Patriot missile systems are just another example.
