I just wanted to say thank you for making this video. I haven't watched or listened to anything about the Wizard of Oz in a very long time, and it's just such a magnificent and warm feeling to listen to the story while laying down. I really struggle with fear and worry, and trying to lay down with so many bothersome things running through my head makes sleep very difficult. I greatly appreciate finding something like this to relax and rest to, as my mental health has not been the best lately.

It is currently nearing 6 AM as of me writing this, but I plan on going back to bed, as I am still pretty tired. I'm a very sleepy bunny- >w<

P.S: Your voice kind of reminds me of Circus Baby from FNAF, which actually makes this 10x better for me, lol.

Thank you for this, truly helped me sleep, but also thank you for not censoring the story like “Get Sleepy” does for their readings. When I heard them edit out the full Tin Woodman story and other parts I was flabbergasted. Really? Censoring a children’s book?

Maybe because I've watched the movie with Judy Garland countless times, the first in black and white probably around 1956, I have to admit I like the movie version much more than the book, which I'm now hearing for the first time. For sure the visual production and extraordinary acting has much to do with it. Judy Garland created a legendary character in her Dorothy. Damn I'm dying to watch it now.

Try using something to lower the pitch and tone of the voice… you read with a clenched throat that results in a breathy child voice… and use a windscreen on mic… if you already do so …replace it… use headphones when recording…

You read very well. When I first started listening to audiobooks it was amazing how many people were poor readers. Your inflection for the most part is great. I'm reminded of the Scarecrows words to Dorothy. Oh I'm a failure because I don't have a brain!! 🙂

Thank you... I use your angelic voice, to calm myself and sleep. My heart is broken. And I pray for rest that never seems to come. Your Little House in The Big Woods and this, my favourite... is my world right now. When I wake up? Youre still reading but I can make it, now.... to 3 hrs 21 minutes. That's the most I've slept in god knows how long. Depression has found my brain. What a horrible after effect of this nightmare thrown into my world. But? I am comforted momentarily by your uploads. And for that? I have deep gratitude.... To the world? Always be kind, because you just have no idea how much people are hurting behind their amazing smiles.
