Thanks for the video but the real magic revelation is how do you open the cases because I been trying to credit card it apart and a 5 minute explanation would have been really valuable insight into the correct method to be used.

The problen is the pressure on one side of the wheel for the ok switch that breaks it

Your idea's for fixing the remote look great - getting it open on the other hand, well you don't actually show just how you get it open or back together for that matter.

Please don't buy a lg tv full of shit ... if the ok button goes yr basically fkd... worst tv ever

Nice idea for the ok button, but your scroll is broken. If anyone tries to do it like u did, it will break the scroll 100%

Mine broke (the rolling wheel mount inside); am already on my second fix. LG NANO91 remote. Seems pretty obvious it would break when you look at the design of it. Planned obsolescence? All LG have done is make me rate them below one of the new Chinese brands.

Lg has produced the worst quality remote control. It was broken after 2 years. I bought an older model of remote control and it works fine now. It does not matter for me not tı have a couple of functions.

I used a resin epoxy, the kind where you mix two parts together, to reattach the wheel and so far, fingers crossed, it works.

This is not helpful but this can probebly work in some times and u can say this as a jugaad

Best way is to drill a hole through,and push a small piece of Allen key into the hexagonal hole in the potentiometer,no tape and a better fix

This is the problem from falling in remotes or just pressed hard from the tv. It's hard to press by the Other one. I think it will not probably working? LG Promote the Biggest time lock so call or need help to fix the remote control.

thanks for the suggestion but damn LG that is some awful quality, the pin connected to the scroller is super tiny. This was made to break..

Remote is complete and utter junk. There was a reason they don't use this design on phones anymore or anywhere else for that matter. Blackberry for all intents and purposes did it right when they did it though. I wonder if they have a touch screen remote for my LG TV. Oh wait the $350 one? FUCK THAT

i already bought a cheap replacement before i found this video 😢 but the replacement always says cannot pair with tv although it is able to use normally. just a bit irritating with the popup always appear when i press buttons...

your video helped, thx!... the right barrel (for Ok/Select) on the wheel broke on my remote, so cut a piece from a traditional stick broom to put it back in place. not as clicky now but does the work... you can also try looking for cheap 2nd hand ones online to get a complete wheel as a spare part

after 3 attempts at the right amount of tap this worked in the end so thank you!

Good job. But for me it didn't work properly, so i tried putting a little piece of folded paper (approximately 0,5 cm thickness) in the hole under the wheel and it's very optimal.

Hi, I have the exact same fault with my remote - pointer and ok button not functioning. Do I have to repair wheel with a PTFE tape, as I've tried electrical black tape and ordinary cellotape, but that does not seem to enable the wheel to turn?

a very bad move from lg design team, they even don't sell the spars, RIP magic remote LG company.... many people are facing some same issues....
