The fact that you gave the answer in the first like minute was great. I liked and subbed cause that was so simple thank you
ОтветитьDevil’s avocet..😂😂😂😂😂 I am stealing this
ОтветитьThanks for the reviews and videos I am updating from the bolt v2 to the Garmin 1040
Ответитьentertaining and informative thank you
ОтветитьQ
❤❤❤
Pricing here in Australia is interesting
ОтветитьInteresting that when you buy the solar you get a silicone case but not if you get the normal 1040
ОтветитьWhat about adding ANT+ devices like AXS, hearthbeat monitor, etc.? What would be the battery life if I pair these Garmin's with a hearthbeat monitor plus my AXS system?
Ответитьwhen using all 10 widgets on the screen, one is duplicated "Time of day"... is this normal? Are there (at least) 10 different widgets to choose from? Thanks
Ответитьbased
ОтветитьThanks, Excellent presentation!!!
ОтветитьDo you have cover on 1040?
ОтветитьThe cost difference really is not that much though
ОтветитьI started with the 1040 solar and realize that it was hard to see on cloudy days with my Oakley Road on. I tried the regular 840 and found it too small for my taste. I went back and got the regular 1040 because it's a bit brighter and easier to see over the 840 and the 1040 solar.
ОтветитьSubscribe for the dry British whit. Staying for the quality reviews. Cheers mate.
Ответитьyou gain a subscriber with your original humor, is very nice to have your content available, comes in very handy
ОтветитьIt is soo refreshing to see someone soo effortlessly funny, having a blast reviewing cycling gear! Glad to have people like you in the community :)
ОтветитьBeing over 50, I have massive problems reading without reading glasses. I guess that makes the 1040 the preferred choice?
ОтветитьIf you don't need all the training bells and whistles you could also go for the Garmin Edge Explore 2. Bigger touch screen than the 840 for a lower price with most of the features. I've had mine for a couple of months and I love it.
ОтветитьFunny and interesting dude, you are… subscribed
ОтветитьGood comparison, thanks. It's too bad Garmin didn't bring larger fonts to the 840 like they did on the 1040...well I suppose they need to give it some edge.
ОтветитьCant decide between 1030 and 1040 🥲
ОтветитьLeading at 1040
ОтветитьI recently purchased the 1040 solar & love it. At first I thought is it too large but quickly realised its not. It has great font size & so easy to read the display .. especially with my not to great eyesight.
ОтветитьMaybe the 1040 will look less “huge” if installed on the stem of the bike. I’m still debating which one to get :-(
ОтветитьAs of today (18th June), the 1040 is on garmin with £50 off at £469 and the 840 is full price at £449. No brainer…..
Ответитьthere were 69 likes and I couldn't let that stand! like 70 was from me :P
ОтветитьI'm struggeling to decide, which device suits me best.
I've got an Epix 2 and am wondering, if there is something in the Edge Computers, what the watch doesn't have?
There is only the bigger display, right?!
But with your recommondation of the 1040, your "answer" is clear - buy a additional device for cycling and use the watch for everything else, right?!
How accurate are these air strikes?
Ответить840 vs bolt2
ОтветитьEntertaining and informative as ever. Will the 830 get the new climb pro stuff in a software update? I'm in the market and can't decide if 840 is worth the extra cash over the 830...
ОтветитьAll good but where’s mine Monty? 😀
